Alright guys, so I have been here for a while, longer than it says I have anyway. I have learned a lot from this board and theres nothing I would do to change that. I understand I might come off cocky, arrogant, and young and stupid in my posts but that is about to change. You guys always give me shit because I talk like a punk, I dont listen, and I create drama. I love it dont get me wrong, but I am in a position now where I need to be professional and start networking. Im not going to fulfill my dreams by being a punk-ass on C+C. I want your opinions and answers and help when I need it and I dont want you to just think I am a young punk ass prick.

My goals are to own a gym one day, have my own nutrition store inside my gym, and also have one online. I want my bachelors in Kinesiology, I want my own car, and I want to own a house all within 4 years. I believe I can do this if I start investing, networking, and trying NOW. So just a heads up, no more drama from the.gladiator1987 anymore, its all business from here on. No more rap battles, no more E-fights, no more half naked videos, and no more bullshit. :rainbow:

The End

I will miss you.:bawling:

bro...you crack me up and while you don't seem like the brightest bulb in the factory i admire your persistence. you don't let peoples comments get you down, and that trait alone can get you somewhat far.

you don't need to be one way all the time. I have times when i'm strictly biz and focused and other times when i'm just a goof and have no inhibitions.

besides dude..it's EF. who gives a shit how you carry yourself? this place is an outlet

do you need to grow up? do you need to educate yourself? yeah and yeah. but you don't need to make a big deal baout it

You think i go around in real life and just spit out 1 liners or douchey comments to everyone? No. i'm actually pretty charismatic and nice to people. it's context. most of the time here i'm joking but in real life it's a bit difference because there has to be a certain levle of comfort for you to do that

and another. before you start making up dreams and saying you want to do "xyz", start doing a feasibility analysis.

you know how much it sucks to own a gym? and the capital involved? and the fact the return is very low (most gyms lose money).
Most gyms are chains for a reason. they're the only ones who can financially support the way a gym operates and market well enough to keep a membership base. plus, the job itself isn't that glamarous. just look at a GM of a gym and tell me you want that life (as an owner, you will have to assume a lot of those roles)

don't just throw baseless shit out there without looking at the details. you'll find that 98% of the "good ideas" that pop out of someone's head tend to be not anywhere close to what they expected

yeah bro. cw is right. you can still joke around a lot (even many mods do) but stay professional at the same time. Business and fun are two seperate things. Just don't let the fun or joking around get in the way of your goals

I built me a gym and Filled it with Kens and Barbie dolls....Don't cost nuthin to run it either, great enertainment!:)

start an apricot farm

lol. Lets put it this way, my brother makes about 40K a month from his apricot seed business. Of course he has way more stuff on there like anti oxidants, immune support, and combo packages. But still if I just had 1/10th of what he has Id make 4K a month after overhead fees.

Here are my goals by the time I am 25

-Good credit score
-Own a house
-Own a NICE car (corvette, camaro, BMW, etc)
-$5,000 in bank account
-Expanded store making $1500/month
-Bench 405, squat 495, deadlift 585
-Get my 5 tattoos that I want

Bro, you should want WAY more than $5000 in the bank.
I already have more than that now that i've earned myself....

get some more skills. Learn how to be a card dealer, bartender, ect.

In my opinion I believe you have the potential of being a great actor bro

There's so many things wrong with that list I don't even know where to begin.

A man with a trade will always have a job anywhere. Working more than one job could be a good idea like already stated as well. CW is right in the sense that you don't have to just become a robot over night. But posting in a serious manner for awhile will help make up for the douchery for awhile.
But you still make impulsive statements and really need to count to three in your head before opening your mouth/typing. Filter out the silly impulsive statements lke wanting to meet a wife on EF. Not sure if I read that right but I think that is what you meant. If you are still a PT you should really be networking with these people and selling them supps and teaching them about them as well. I am happy that you have decided to change your ways. We almost all have acted sort of like this in some way in our lifes. It's the people who learn from these experiences that put themselve in a position to be both happy and successful.

I already work for my brother. He dropships all of my orders, he sells his stuff to me at wholsesale and I resell it at retail. So i owe him money when I sell his items but I pocket some as well.

Will you ever be able to kick your income up to all new levels if you are always under your bro?

my thoughts:
extend your plan for a decade, no way are you doing all that shit in 5 yrs.
not sure if you have any college credits, but honestly judging from posts/style
getting a BS in 4 yrs may be tough (i'm just as dumb bro don't feel bad).
i'm thinking 5 maybe 6...look at the requirments, see all that math and chem?
if you aren't sciencey it's gonna be hard (but not impossible).
and the combo of school/staring a business i don't think is possible...gonna have to
be one then the other in succession.
just the degree alone is gonna be no easy task bro, understand that.
good luck man i hope you succed

I want to do something, I dont want to just be another statistic on earth (honey when it comes down to it, we're all just a statistic, being famous after you die doesn't do you any good). I want to do something in the health field (why not get a personal training cert and use that in the meantime while you figure out what you want) . Maybe not own a gym, (no you don't want to do this - as others pointed out, there's no margin in it) but I definetly want to expand my store (good yes, but expanding beyond apricot seeds with your own line of products - not reselling others). But I want more..

I want to meet my future wife on this site (alright sexy let's procreate - BTW if I'm making the money you're cleaning the house)

What is it that has caused you to think you're doing something wrong on the site and need to straighten up? It's C&C babe, live it up. I totally get that you've made a decision in your head, you have goals - and announcing them feels good, it helps you to kind of... have a control group for accountability. Have fun on EF. Learn from people when you can - even the debates we have on here are productive - helps keep you sharp ;)

Glad, seriously, I agree with Iggs. Have a meatup with bake in LA, maybe he can hook you up with a job acting, only you just have to be yourself. You strike me as the "Stiffler" for a new generation.

exactly bro....
glad, my good friend is going to acting school in another country for a year. i'm making shorts and writing screenplays and helping out a few indie directors along with bartending on the side part time for cash and going to school.

I think you should try it out. You have the passion, creativity, and drive from the rap videos, so why not put it to use. Hell take an acting class, or if you're really interested in it, check out a school.

One of my projects i'm working on now you would be perfect for....

+1,000

I started to type something similar. The health and fitness industry in general is a very competitive industry and has a cottage industry element which typically results in modest returns.

If you do really love the industry and want to compete, find a niche (i.e. specific training model or selling specialty products) in a really favorable market (i.e. good incomes, good demographics).

Good luck with it! It will take a while to build your own business but it's well worth it IMO.

Ok ill make it a 6 year plan. SD, idk about always being under my brother but for now ill have to be.

Ive never though about acting...it would be pretty cool though. How can bakemeacookie help me out though?
he can give some good advice.... he lives and works in hollywood bro.

Dude just be careful, we are talking very strong goals in a very short period with a person that doesnt have much to start with.... it's always good to reach for the starts but I dont want you to have a life crisis in 6 years if you havent achieved those things... they aren't exactly easy things to achieve....

In the business world those are called "stretch goals". The theory is that if you make your goals very high, almost unattainable, you would accomplish much more than if you had lower goals to begin with, even if you dont hit the really high goals. Therefore making your net accomplishments higher than simply reaching lower goals.

You need about 5million$ to operate a successful gym. I actually thought about this before.

meh, the gym i go to is a rented building
cost 3k a month, un-manned so no personel.
probably 500-800 in misc costs and expenses per month.
about 250 members paying 32 a month.
not bad money for minimal work (never seen the owners at the gym
once)

You will fail.

I'm sorry, but someone had to say it. You have unrealistic goals, and most of them aren't even indicators of success. Owning a BMW or a Vette? You buy them when you can afford them. Having 5g's in the bank (your goal) is not going to support a mortgage and a car payment. And $1500 a month is only 18k a year. How about you just get a decent job and work 40 hours a week. Being fiscally responsible is much better idea for you. Pissing away money on status symbols isn't wise.

Alright theres so many things wrong with this post

Owning a vette would be sick whether its a good goal, bad goal, unrealistic goal itd still be sick

5g's in the bank meaning I have money to pay bills from my job, plus extra in the bank

1500month just from Ebay, not my whole income. So it be an EXTRA 18,000 a year. Thats awesome

Agreed.

Its funny how much I looked forward to chem before college and how much I despise it now.

Yeah I pretty much felt like I should be keeping a jar of bugs to snack on while studying that nonsense.

I'm not going to disagree that owning a Vette would be nice, but at what expense?

As for your 5g's.. you are talking extra in the bank. Meaning you would be living paycheck to paycheck with only 5 grand extra in case of an emergency. That's not wise.

Ok, an extra 18k a year. That's still not much, and when you consider the amount of money it takes to get a business off the ground, and that most new small businesses are in the red for the first few years, it sounds like 18k would be your base income. Not to mention when you finally do go into the black, the smart thing would be to reinvest in your company with what little profits you have.

I'm not trying to shit on you, and I do respect your ambition, you just need to be more realistic.

Lol $5000 is nothing I'm 17 and I know that. Glad weren't you thinking about doing marine corps orc or something? Shit get in good shape (20 pullups, 100 sistups 2 minutes, 3 mile run 18:00) then join the marine corps shit it's better than trying to get a gym going and if you do ocs you'll be making good money as 2nd liutenant right off the bat.

getting a vette/bmw in your mid 20's would be sweet but getting it repo'd and having sonya from operation repo drive away in it would not be sweet.

a real realistic goal would be saving! i kinda get the impression you want to start your own business but you want to start it mid level. it's a ground up game and EVERYONE fucks up in the start. do what you want bronuts just live and learn! that's life.

Ochem was the easiest class I took in college. Just clicked for me. A few years away from math, and then trying to do Calculus was a different story.

camero's are only like 23g's now. Owning a car is nice.

Agreed with the movie thing, you could be in the next jagerbomb flick

In today's market you can forget about OCS unless you have a degree in a desired major and a high G.P.A.

I went from owning a 335i to a base model '08 Corvette, which I currently have. Both great cars, but the Vette is much more expensive. Insurance will eat you alive. It's the reason I just put mine on the market.

I'm 27, married, have no points on my record and pay $4800 a year. And that's with a multi-car discount.

shit wtf am I saying?

Vettes are awesome! I've got a great low mileage '08 for you. Only 9360 miles on it, always garage kept. Never driven hard.

I got a 4 year rotc scholarship;) I will actually get paid to go to college cause I get free room and board and a stipend.

Wow, I'm new here and I almost got bombed into oblivion b/c by Chris the medical genius and then got spanked by many others. Wow, they got you humbled down low. But, they're sure being supportive now- that's so heartwarming. You know, your statement was not unlike a positive affirmation statement. I'm inspired to start a new thread on that topic...hmm...

ok will someone please buy this goddamn car already?

Fuck, fuckerfuck. I'm out of time on my attempt to retail it privately. Insurance policy expires midnight tonight and we ARE NOT paying another $5g's to ensure this thing.

Carmax here we come.
