Arnold started juicing at age 17...

Maybe even as young as 16... To become olympic at 22... you have to start early. Now with the common agreement that juice is not for anyone younger than 25... are we working against a new young olympian?

=D

I dont agree with juice is not for anyone younger than 25. If we are talking about testosterone for example there are two things it will do for a person that is 16 or even 15.

It will make them quick jump through puberty which may be considered ill-advised since you might not grow any taller because the growth plates slow way down during and after puberty. And it will do what we use it to do and that is build muscle.

On this site people wont give advise till you are 21 (I dont know why either way if you dont have a script its still a felony and felonies dont have age limits).

If you want to be successful in your teens, yes you will have to start around the time Arnold did and by all means you will be way ahead of people who wait till they are 21 or 25.

I have kidds at my gym that shouldnt be shaving yet, that lifts heavier than me, are bigger than me, and simply look like freaks. Not a lot of em, but they do excist. =D

Exactly they will continue to age like normal human beings they are just through and done with puberty early, combine that with all the natural gh in there system and you have the prime recipes for "Arnolds".

i know guys who started as young as 16 in highschool. I dont think its a good idea but they havent seemed to suffer any problems from it. Actually now that i think of it they are all in great condition. most of these guys wearther following through or not all got looked at for football/wrestling schollarships or got free rides to train at fight gyms.

Yea sure they will have some side effects but the pay off in the long run out weigh them.

Maybe it is us.. the old farts that knows our lives are slipping away between our fingers, wanting others to sweat blood instead of getting to where we are now, 20 years earlier...

I mean seriously, had I known about steroids and had knowledge been as available then as it is now... I would be a retired Arnold by now, about to hit my political careers peak.. =D

for one, people like arnold were early developers (not because of the roids) but that made it a little better for them to take it. It's still really really dangerous and a lot of young people don't study enough or look into a good pct and they think they're alright, but they're not. Another thing is, no one that young has reached their genetic potential. I honestly think that people should have to work hard and master the art of weight lifting before they decide to take a huge shortcut.

First of all, we don't know when Arnold started. Secondly, it's easier to mess yourself up when you're younger. And thirdly, when people start too young, they tend to fail because they never learn to train properly to get good gains -- which they should be able to do anyway. And today with the supps available, it's easier than ever.

And Arnold is Arnold. His success wasn't due to starting steroids sooner, that's for sure.

Agree with Nelson ,Besides Joe Weider saw potential in this young man and arranged to bring him to the USA!That was When The magic started.
