My goals are to increase my lower body strength to get rid of my patella tendonitis and to increase my vertical jump.
I dont have any measurements of my vertical jump... all I know is that I can do a running one footed, one handed dunk and on a good day, a two handed. The sad thing is... I could jump just as high when I was 15 @ 6'3" 180. Anyway, my dunking goal is two be able to do a two-footed, two-handed dunk by basketball season.
However, my main goal is not strength related. I would like to make All State Basketball next year. I made all-division last year and might have gotten a vote or two for all state.
To achieve my goals... I'm combining heavy lower body training with sprinting and plyometrics. I havent started dieting yet, but it's something that will probably happen sometime this summer.
