Anyone here a bartender?

OK, 2 questions about this:

#1, what kind of martini?
#2, do you have the bloody mix pre-made?

I'd line up 4 glasses with ice, a shaker, chill a martini glass, pour the vodka in the LIT, Bloody, and the shaker, pour the tequila in the marg and the LIT, add the triple sec to the lit and marg, add the rest of the ingredients and mixes, shake, pour, and garnish everything. Then I'd make the B52 and laugh @ the attempt to stump me. (Bailey's, Kahlua, Grand Mar in a pony glass)

Hoo Ahh....

Also, did you work @ the Red Cheetah in Cincinnati?
i was surprised at how many couldn't get a pour order set in their head

I think I made the b52 first

I worked at a warehouse danceclub down on pete rose way close to the stadium
and then in 1991 some other Jewish family opened this multimillion flaoting entertainment complex and I worked there

what a comedy of errors that whole deal was
they thought they were going to make all this money

it took about a year after opening before the whole complex was organized properly

I worked in a dance club in the complex
they thought it would be packed
it was packed 6 hours a week
11-2am friday and saturday

you can't cover the overhead with 6 hours of sales

When I'm at a dance club or velvet rope club - I want my beer and be gone. I don't want some stupid male bartender trying to make small talk with me. WTF? Fuck off and serve the others who are still waiting in line.

Hot Chicks. well they're hot chicks. They just have to be hot and guys flock!

If the bartender has time to chit chat, it's nto a busy club.

trust me maxwell I know when it was appropriate. In a busy club I was mostly a one liner guy. And would talk while I was making drink order,so I'm not wasting any of your valuable club time. A place doesn't have to be covered up busy to make dough. As the volume increases the tip percentage decreases. That's known as inversely proportional.
I bartended in just about every environment except for a gay bar and strip club. Football games, illegal black-jack houses, special events
such as the 2 week gig in the players lounge for the senior PGA tour
me and a black dude for 2 weeks
only the sponsor's and family members,a few other high ranking people involved with the event and the player's and their family members were allowed in

club members weren't even allowed in
and no other hired help
bro and I were to handle everything w/o anybody else coming in that lounge
breakfast,lunch and evening cocktails
they treat those guys like gods
I'm fuckin' serving arnold palmer and his wife
chi chi
lee trevino
etc.

you don't get a gig like that if you interview like a dweeb

the place in the process of being demolished in 2007 (1991-2007)
I snapped this pic as I was returning from the arnold in columbus, ohio

<---former bar owner and bartender. Luv'd it. It was a blast and I disagree with needing to be hot. It's all about being able to hold a conversation/being witty.

Alcohol cures the uglies but can't make you any smarter.

TITCR.

My dad owned a bar/restaurant and bartended for many years. If it's a neighbourhood bar, it's about building local clientale and that requires you to be congenial and personable at the very least...you needn't be hotter than hell. Just give your patrons good conversation, lend an ear and mix a solid drink.:)

Man I can never here the bartenders!!! Its too loud
