anyone gone to those meetings for time shares and shit just to get the free stuff?

I call and reserved a seat this Sunday for one of those things. It is a travel club. You listen to a 90 minute sales pitch and in return you get a 7 day cruise on Royal Caribbean. Either the Bahama or Mexico route.

Can't beat that huh? Anyone do shit like this?

Yes I have done that. I just came back from the free trip to the Bahamas. They gave me the option of Bahamas, Florida, or ...........damn I forget. lol

Anyway the free trip costs a little bit for taxes and stuff. You have to choose a date and then they "approve" it before you can go. You can also "upgrade" to more days... like 4 or 5 days there.

I actually purchased the stuff they were selling. lol I bought 8 (one week) vacations to anywhere I choose with a one bedroom condo type place. It`s like a timeshare but for a limited amount of time. (8 weeks) I got that for $2300. They also gave me "dinner for two" at Red Lobster. lol They sent me the voucher...$15 LMAO

I have`nt been on any of the one week vacations yet. I was thinking of Florida next fall. You have to provide transportation to all the vacations, btw.

Also, There`s a list that comes out every Friday on there website of "excess inventory" You pay $99 and take any available one week vacation spot they have to offer if you want it. It`s seperate from the 8 weeks I already purchased. It`s anywhere from 1 week to 2 months in advance for the excess inventory list.

Wrong! Its been about ten years since we went so things may have changed. But we went on a 7 day cruise in the bahamas. Nice trip. Got back to Fort Laud a met some guy for a half hour. As soon as we met him, we said look, we are only here for the free shit, save your sales pitch. It was cool and we saved ALOT of money.

Oh the one I did was different. I went to their office nea my town, Ilistened to their pitch for one hour and thats it. You get tickets for the trip. You don`t see anyone WHILE on the vacation.
