I went to the Dr. He said that it would heal without surgery. But there is a gap where the muscle tore ( probably from the tendon or ligament) I'm wondering how that gap is going to fill in.
Fuck man , be proud of that shit , Im proud of every stretch mark I have an i have plenty , i worked hard enough for em! Hope you recover well and quickly.

I would think you'd want surgery to reattach it in the same spot. I think pros do that for cosmetic reasons. I saw a bicep tear where it rolled up the guys arm like a window shade. That was an obvious candidate for surgery.

Yeh man , its a tough road , what happened EXACTLY to cause the tear ? BB is easier on the joints in any case.... i use to have rickety knees - cut out hacks and good as new now!

I had felt a twinge in the area after doing 365 on a pause. Moved up to 400 and as soon as I exploded upward, I felt it and heard it tear.( Sounded like velcro) I thought my knees were shot also. I stopped playing basketball and going real heavy on leg presses and now they are good as new.

I'm actually dealing with something similar, biteme. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow, so he can refer me to a sports doc. I'm optimistic that it is not a tear though.
