Texas bbq rocks..I grill, and smoke just about everyday..Was up at 5 starting my brisket....You can put a plate of my brisket on top of your head, and your tounge will beat your brains out trying to get to it....LOL.....
I am hoping that all you can do me a favor. See, Kneepads and I love to grill - in fact we have 2 grills - both unassembled sitting on the patio. One is a 400.00 Sunbeam and the other is Char-Broil Patio Caddy. I am deathly afraid of the propane tanks - I mean to the point that I break out in a cold sweat just thinking about using the grill. Our old grill was a huge beast - and I would stand there praying after I turned the valve - and I am not a religous person.
Does anyone know if those tanks can explode? I sort of promised him that I would have the grill built before he came hom and ... judging by the clock on the wall ... he'll be here in five hours and it's all still in the box.
Any ideas on how to get over this fear? And I'm not joking about this - I would rather fight with charcoal every day than have that tank anywhere near me.
I grill everything I can.
Steaks, chicken, beer brats, kebobs, ribs....
Its 100 degrees here and I'm standing there sweating my ass off with a cold beer and a big smile.
