I've been there....my first year away at school I dated an absolutely gorgeous girl, but she was sooooo damn conservative it turned me off. I stuck it out for a few weeks...and then, when she finally decided to get a bit frisky, I'd already started to view her as a buddy and nothing more. So, I dumped her...once a girl is in the buddy zone, I don't even notice her sexuality anymore.
To add onto that...she did not agree that we'd be better off as friends and nothing more...got VERY bitter, and we didn't talk anymore after that. That really sucked, as she was the perfect person to go to lunch with. We had similar tastes in food, and great conversations....that's what I missed about her in the end....going out to lunch.
I met someone that fits this description two weeks ago. I was at a wedding that was CRAWLING with hot guys. My friend informed me that one of them was eyeballing me from the other side of the main floor... so I went over and started talking to him. Sure he was extremely attractive and very intelligent, but I guess my brain is just not in the mood to date right now and the rest of me knew it. We did meet up for coffee last week, but there's no chemistry. He keeps calling and I keep telling him 'we'll see'. I think my friend is about to beat my ass... she wants to hit it.
Huck Darlin', I don't mean to hijack this thread, nor do I mean to get into your business...well, maybe I do but why, for the love of God, do you stay with a woman who makes you so damn miserable?!?!?!?!?
I remember meeting this woman and found her very desirable on my first impression. We dated for two weeks and I doubt her blowing me would have gotten me hard by the end. As I've gotten older the less weight I place the superficial and the more I look for a deeper connection.
To paraphrase Nietchze, "When a man looks for a wife he should look for someone he can converse with for the rest of his life, for all other things in marriage are transient."
I've been on alot of dates with attractive men that looked good but had nothing going on upstairs. Personality & looks go hand and hand. I need a cobination of both for a guy to turn me on.
