An AAS user's worst nightmare...

centeroiler

New member
...and I'm going through it right now. If you think you got it bad, check out my horror story.

I'm 4 weeks into my Primobolan/Testosterone cycle. A week ago from last Sunday I came down with what can only be described as the worst flu I've ever had. I'm talking, can't get out of bed, severe body aches, can't swallow because your throat is on fire, 102 temperature, etc. I noticed right from the start, my urine was very dark, so I figured I was dehydrated and drank as many fluids as I could swallow (even ice water hurt to swallow) and stopped my Dieselbolan as a pre-caution. I also stopped my excess protein consumption and all the supplements so as not to stress my liver and kindneys further (this is how bad I felt). Come Wednesday, I did another injection of test and Primo to keep my levels stable. I started to feel better, but my urine was still getting darker. Come Friday, I had the onset of jaundice. Saturday was worse and I almost went to the ER. Doc said if I have any fever, or it gets worse to go. It seemed to level off, but I had urine and blood work today and my billirubin and urine protein are off the charts. I'm waiting to see how the blood comes back tomorrow and hoping this can be cured and that I haven't got too much damage to my liver and kidneys. Obviously, I stopped my cycle and will have to go into PCT, which right now is secondary to me getting better.

Even though I did everything right, a freak sickness came along and infiltrated my body. What part, if any, the gear played in all this I don't know, but I know Primo increases red blood cell count. A healthy liver can handle this, but maybe not a stressed one like mine thats not operating 100%. Prudence dictates that I stop putting all foreign substances into my body for right now. More importantly, I'm trying to escape with my health intact and its scary. I can't believe this is happening to me.

Everyone out there, take your AAS use seriously. These drugs are serious business and can complicate matters seriously and unexpectedly. Remember: Life can turn on a dime...

Peace.

Dam that sucks man. I hope your blood test comes back ok! Do you always cycle time on= time off and do a good pct? Have you taken alot of orals for long periods of time?
Either way I hope you recover well and just concentrate on getting healthy right now. Good luck man!

That sucks man I hope you feel better. Go with human grade bro then you wont have to worry about contaminated gear. Im on test/primo right now and its great

I haven't heard anything like these every happening from gear use. How long have you been using and how often? Are you using UG or human grade?

I'm much more worried about UG gear nowadays than anything. most of this stuff come with added byproducts that are not good for ya. It is unfortunate that our Gov has destroyed access to all of the legit supply of Human grade and even the good Vet stuff. Suck we have to go to the "moonshiners" of our day for gear.

anything can happen when you are on cycle to send it all to hell, health related problems or otherwise. you could have gotten into a bad car wreck and injured to where you couldnt work out, that would end your cycle real quick as well. sometimes the gear causes adverse reactions in your body, sometimes its just plain old getting sick from other things.
this is the risk you take everytime you cycle.

Sorry to hear the bad new Center. How can you tell if you have the onset of jaundice?

Because my skin is turning yellow, as well as my eyes.

I'm not saying it is from the gear. I've been on now for 4 weeks with no problems and it is top-notch gear. The Doctor believes the virus spread to my liver and kindeys and is what is causing the (viral) hepatitus. The gear just isn't helping, and is complicating the situation. I don't care about aborting the cycle, I just care about getting better.

hey bro hope all goes well....at least you got your mind right...the cycle doesnt matter it is getting better....and i know you will. Think positive!!!

Fuck bro where to begin. I am sorry you are going through this shit. Have you noticed anything else like sores or bruising easily or bruising of the injection sites? Damn, you're one of the cats that does his homework too so it sucks that you had to get sick. Think positive and that will help a lot with the recovery.

Well we all have to admit that gear is immuno-supressive so if anything, the gear weakened you.

my friend who just went through renal failure was told by multiple doctors that his abuse of gear was a non-factor. he got so lean the fish he was eating had no fat to bind to for excretion. would have needed over 4 gallons of water a day to filter it all. they all wanted to blame the drugs but couldnt find any correlation.

I'm curious how lean was this guy?

I believe that 100%!!! A good friend of mine that use to compete back in the day(trained/competed with kai green), told me a story about a time he was so dry and lean from his diet that he had 8oz of red meat and it sent him to the ER. And this guy is 100% natty and always has been.

This sport is no joke. It can be as unhealthy as you make it.

On a 2nd note: Hope ya get better oiler! Keep everyone posted!!!

I'm curious how lean was this guy?

4% honest. it was ridiculous. striations all over his body standing still. his ass was all lines, no butt cheeks. we told him he was too far along too soon. week before his show, bam, jaundice and orange brown urine. can never compete again. this was going to be his 40th show. true iron master.

Timtim,
I think maybe these are two very different situations. One might have been (worst case scenario) bunk gear and the other is taking things to the extreme (Andreas Munzer style). For reals though DAMN! You're boy is a fricken trooper and a half to be able to lean out that much. How the FFFF did he do it? Diuretics, anti E's and all that stuff?

I've been doing this over 30 yrs and never had a problem.............Knock on wood,
all i can say is wow! never in my life heard of this. It's a shame like BRR stated ....theres no telling what we get now a days from UG labs-Thanks to the Goverment!

eliminated gh, made his waist too big. dropped 3 inches right there. dosages were high, much different than what you see online as far as combos. it was all diet with this guy. he started preparing for about 7 months. started at about 8% (shredded year round since ive known him) and slowly added size as his bf went lower and lower. he had pro comp people aiding him the last 8 weeks. no diuretics. no fat burners. just to add, this is someone with decades of training and competing experience. his natural build trumps most at their best. its a shame too. this was his year. but when he showed his glutes and hamstrings, grainy and crunchy. all veins and lines. ive seen him prepare a bunch of times already but this was crazy.

That suck bro. Ween off the gear. Use some liver supps (POST CYCLE, Liv52, etc) Drink gallons of water and get as much sleep as possible.

It could be dirty gear, it could be a nasty flu. You never know. But you'll pull though.

jaundice is normaly caused by orals most notably anadrol. did u consider that the deisalbolin had a play in this as pro-hormones are actually more harsh on your liver than most oral aas??

To be more precise, oral C-17 Alylated steroids cause Intrahepatic cholestasis. ONE of the many symptoms is jaundice. Something has shut down Centeroiler's bile flow and now bilirubin is accumulating in the skin. Even tylenol can do it.

Centeroiler, you're going through a walk in the park compared to what I went through.

Mannn! I'm truly sorry to hear this bro...please keep water intake as high as possible, adding " LIV52 DS "to your daily supp intake...in fact, i can't stress enough on the water intake even if that means sacrificing a mini meal or so...

Get well soon bro...your next cycle will be a super success :rainbow::rainbow:

I'm so sorry to hear that, but the good news is that you were smart and knew when to quit and did it the right way. You will recover and get back in no time. Take care man, best of luck.

Thank you everyone, for your support. It means a lot.

It's impossible to say what caused this. I really don't think itsfrom dirty gear. First, the gear I use is among the best available. Nevertheless, I still filtered and sterilized it to make absolutely sure it was clean. I had been drawing from same vials over the 4 weeks, so if it were contaminated its logical that I would have got sick after the first shot. Unless it got contaminated along the way.

I think that I was just unlucky enough to get some kind of really nasty flu/superbug, and maybe my immune system was suppressed from the gear. The flu is going around here. The virus then somehow moved into my internal organs and the gear was already putting additional stress on them. This is all conjecture though. I'm still hoping/praying that its bacterial and can be treated with antibiotics. I'm keeping the fluids way up! I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again.

Hope ya get better bro. Have you been back to the Dr. yet? Also, what all supps have you been taking before this? I know you eat a shit load of Liv52's if I'm not mistaken. That's just crazy that your liver is so screwed up.

lol! I was only kidding when I said that I eat them like tic-tacs. Seriously, Liv 52's aren't gonna save me from this one. I stopped all supplements until I get a handle on this. I'm waiting on the tests as we speak.

So I am curious. What other signs did you have before you realized it was time to go to the doc. Obviously turning yellow is a big one but what else did you feel. Anxiety, pain, cottom mouth, rashes, lethargy? I don't mean to pry but seeing as how you're probably the only person I know who is going through this I'd like to ask what you are going through just to have a personal "check list" of things to look for in case something similar ever happens to myself or any of my bros, perish the thought. Are you going through any pain now? Is your skin clearing up now that you've stopped using all gear? Are you feeling better?
I truly hope you are feeling better and on your way to a speedy and full recovery.

I my case it started as a very bad case of the flu. All the classic flu symptoms with the worst sore throat I've ever had. Extreme fatigue, body aches, etc. Right from the start I knew something was wrong because I was drinking tons of fluids, but I was still very dehydrated. Right from the start I noticed that my urine was getting very dark, almost brown. Then later in the week I started getting real itchy and the skin on my face was drying out, chapped lips, flaky skin around my eyes, etc. I looked in the mirror on Friday and noticed that my skin color was looking pasty. This quickly turned to yellowish/grayish and the whites of my eyes started turning yellow. Things have stablized. I got my bloodwork back and my liver enzymes are 10 times elevated over normal. This is bad, but it could have been worse. There doesn't seem to be any liver damage and my kidneys checked out okay. I'm going for an ultrasound
and more blood work later this week. The Doctor said it might even be gallstones. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Fricken ay what an odyssey you are going through right now. Keep your head up and your spirits higher and you'll persevere. Keep us informed of your progress.

Did your doctor say "Viral Hepatitus?" Usually this means Hep C. I feel for you if this is the case.

To protect your liver don't eat spicy food. Don't drink alcohol or do any drugs. And don't fall for the take XYZ to clean out your liver. All of the help your liver supps are BS. Everything you inject puts a strain on the liver, everything.

The best thing you could do for your liver is fast on water with a little lemon juice. While you are fasting your liver is healing itself.

Bro could you post some links to where you're gathering this information? I'm not saying you're wrong...I'd just like to see some documented test studies.

I am not saying he's right or wrong but it makes sense from a logical stand point to say that fasting will help the liver. The liver has to help process all the food that we eat so if you're not eating, not only is your liver taking a break but so is your digestive system which takes a lot of energy to run. Also, some of the food we eat is turned into alcohol (about 40 ounces per day or somewhere there abouts) so if you're not consuming food all of those toxins are not going through the liver.
Like I said, I am not agreeing/disagreeing with Joe but the idea does have some merit.

Mate what a biatch .

I now how much work and research you put in to your cycle and goals .
I hope you get good results back and can heal , my thoughts are with you mate.

Brad.

I just went through Hepatitus B just 2 months ago. I lost 25 lbs. and had jaundice, white shit, no appetite and had the energy of a 85 year old man. Trust me i feel your pain. When it comes to your organs nothing is worth damaging them. I'm just now back on cycle but i will get blood work every month for liver while ON. I'm no longer in my twenties and have to start taking care of myself. If i was you i'd drop all the damn pro-hormones and Tren.

I am sorry for what happened to you bro, and I hope you are feeling much better.

Contamination with heavy metal salts may cause liver and kidney failure.
Filtering and baking will sterilize it, but these methods would not remove soluble chemical contamination.
Who knows how much chemical contamination is there in powders from China?
Even imports by large multinationals from China were contaminated.

Your experience removes any doubts from my mind: no UG gear, no way Jose.

Unless you are getting your gear with a script from a pharmacy it's all UG. Modern technology has made it so that reproducing ampules and what not is not all that difficult or expensive.

Just saw this post...I wish you a speedy recovery. This should be a wake up call for all of us. No matter how careful you are , shit can happen at any time. Keep us posted on your results and again, best to you and your recovery.

I wasn't talking about the fasting bro. I've found research that supports fasting to help liver I was talking about his reference to Liv52 and other liver supps harming the liver.

Centeroiler, I had the exact same symptons 3 years ago. It turns out I had a Gallstone move into and block a bile duct between the Gallbladder and Liver. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Gotcha. You didn't specify what you were refuting so I automatically assumed that you were referring to the WHOLE post.

His condition was looking serious. The doctor may have admitted him to hospital for closer examination. It's the speed it hit him which is very worrying.

Hello everyone. The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Thank you all for your well wishes. I am feeling much better. I had more blood work done, and my liver levels are much better now, with only one level still slightly out of range. I've got to get copies of these tests and I'll post the numbers for you to see. One level (I don't know which one) which was supposed to be under 45, was something like 475! No hepatitus though, thank god. I had an ultrasound scheduled today, to check for gallstones, but it got cancelled because the technician called in sick (unbelievable, they only have one!). It is certainly looking like it might be a gallstone. I actually hope thats what it is, so I know.

I did fast with nothing but water and cranberry juice for a week. I didn't want to stress my liver and kidneys any more than absolutely necessary. This helped. I also got over the flu which helped tremendously. My urine is still dark off and on, but is much better. I still have something going on and we think its a stone(s) blocking a bile duct(s), so its got to be confirmed and taken care of.

This has been a pretty scary thing. Being so sick I thought I was dying, seeing myself turn yellow, shitting white, having uncontrollable bloody noses, and having skin peeling off my fingertips and around my eyes is a pretty terrifying experience. It seems like all the stars were in alignment and conspired to make this one very miserable time for me. The gear made it even tougher on my system. I'll rest, get healthy and hit it again.

Thanks again for everybody's input. This has been one hell of a learning experience.

Everyone be safe!

Thanks for letting us know what's going with your health and stay up. Let's all collectively cross our fingers and hope for the galstones.

Talk about learning something new every day. I knew absolutely nothing about gallstones. I never paid any attention to learning about them. But, looking at all the symptoms, I should have known. I've been having unexplained symptoms for a few years now. As luck would have it, it seems I had a major, potentially life threatening attack just after starting a new cycle, with new gear. So naturally, what's the first thing you think when you start turning yellow and get sick as shit? You think you're dying from contaminated gear!

I had nightmare visions of:

1.) Needing a liver transplant.
2.) Being on dialysis for the rest of my life.
3.) Having viral hepatitus.
4.) Never working out or being able to use gear again.
5.) Being confined to a bed somewhere
etc., etc., etc.

Well it seems it all stems from a stone blocking my main bile duct and getting me really sick. I also caught a nasty cold at the same time which masked the symptoms by giving me a sore throat and congestion that aren't indicative of gallstones. I may need surgery, but I'm okay with that knowing I'll be back in the game in no time. I hope everyone can learn something from this.

I'll get this taken care of, let my body rest and heal, and then I'll get back on my cycle and training plan.
