All I know is I have some wicked ass dreams off ambien when I take 10mg.

taking only 5mg has given me some very weird dreams also. I am using it now to try to knock me out so I won't be getting up in the middle of the night and binge eating. But after this diet is over I will try not to use it at all if possible. - cbeaks

I had sleeping problems last year, I went to my doc and got a prescription for Ambien, 10mg strength. I took one pill, an hour passed, nothing happened. I took another pill, still nothing. And hour later, I fell asleep watching TV. I woke up 6 hours later. The next day, I took 3 pills at the same time. Still nothing. Ambien had no effect on me whatsoever.

Nowadays when I have sleeping problems I take Valium, it knocks me right out.

I have heard that valium can make you hungry. Has anyone else had this effect? - cbeaks

I let my fiance try a 10mg ambien. She was saying the weirdest shit, like she was seeing people and stuff. It was soooo funny.

The exact same thing happened to me when I took ambien, I was seeing shit that wasn't there . Called the doc a few days later and he said that is one of the side affects with some people.

I love this drug, it's mild and yet effective for me.

The only draw back, is that I tend to wake up 5-6 hours after ingestion.

BTW- my best friend swears up and down that it is useless.

If you don't feel anything from ambien or it doesn't help you go to sleep then you are not taking ambien. You must have mixed up the prescriptions. Just my 2cents.
