All I Can Think About Is 315!!!

MY ROUTINE FOR CHEST:

flat bench press...
start with 2 light sets warm up.
then... lift as the heaviest weight for 4-6 reps.
same thing for second set.
take some weight off, and do another 2 sets til failure.

move over to incline dumbel presses and repeat same structure as before.

Cat Fight?? So your saying I should swing harder???
Bombing them doesn't help , that's for sure

bro i have one suggestion also regarding bench.....maybe doing incline first for a while will help...i say this cause i do it not for strength but because i lack in my upper chest...but once in a while ill go flat bench first, and my bench flies up each time....worth a try i guess

Ok bro, its kind of "westside" of me, but...

MWF for 4-6 weeks.
Monday=5x5 type back day. BB Rows as your main lift
Wednesday=Bench Day*
Friday=Squat Day 5x5 style

*Bench day 1
Take that same weight that you have been getting for 6 reps and for 10sets of 3 (yes 10 sets) Control the weights, no cheating. You get all 10 sets you add weight next week. I add 10bs at a time.
CGBP 2x4-8
JM Press 2x4-8

*Bench day 2
5x5 Bench day using a weight slightly heavier than your 10x3 weight. Get 5x5 and you add 10lbs the next time.
CGBP 2x4-8
JM Press 2x4-8

DONT skimp on tris exercises they are AS important as the Bench.

Cycle these 3 times each (may work quicker) and the next bench day work up to a max it'll be 10-30 lbs more than it is today.
If you end up adding weight after 4/6 workouts thats about 20-40lbs on your 5x5. Now translate that to your max. :qt: Exactly

TRY THE DAMN THING SATCH!!! YOU'LL LOVE ME AFTER THIS ;)
 
FWIW, I've used this on 4 dudes so far. Shooting 100% so far. Of course Im there forcing there intensity :evil:

These dudes all were lifting already the weakest one got 265 at the end of his 6 weeks (Started at 225 for 1)

one thing that helped me is i got this bud of mine who knows bio-mechanics better than anyone ive ever know to take a look at my bench. what he noticed was that the bar needed to held more towards my lower chest, as i was using to much shoulder holding the bar just above upper chest. he also helped me concentrate on holding my shoulders back and retrackted through the entire motion. if this helps anyone else great... it helped me a bunch.
