I got 7 weeks to go. I'm currently 5'5", 172, and I will probably be entering into the lightweight class because I'll have a better chance of winning if I enter the lightweight at the top of the class rather than the bottom of the middleweights.

I wouldn't concern myself too much with the weight category. a guy at the botttom of a weight category can still tear up a guy at the top of the same weight category as long as he looks tight.

OH SHIT! The teddy bear belongs to my niece, I'm in the basement in that photo, and it's her play area :D

No prob. I started to watch my diet on the date that I decided to get serious about doing a show, which was Jan 1st.

After reading this you'll surprised to find that I really dont eat much. A total of about 6 meals, maybe 7, per day. My carbs are usually less than 500/day; currently they are about 250/day.

Here's the break-down for the entire day.

8AM
-----
Into the blender goes:
1/2 cup oatmeal + 50g Isopure + 1/2 cup apple juice

10AM
------
8oz turkey OR 1 can of tuna
1/2 cup of mashed potato OR 1 piece of toast

12:30 PM
-----------
1 chicken breast OR 2 filets of Talapi fish
3/4 cup rice

2:30 PM
-----
Shake (2 scoops of Isopure + 4 scoops of Ultra fuel)

5PM
-----
8oz turkey OR 1 can of tuna
1/2 cup of mashed potato OR 1 piece of toast

9PM
-----
Chicken burgers, fish, tuna, or anything that's in the fridge :D

And that's really it. I'm sure I would put on a few more pounds if I ate 2 more meals per day, but I just cant fit anything else in my stomach.

The last time I used GH was about 2 years ago. I used 3 kits of Serostim GH and gave up, partly because I did not enjoy my gains from it, and not to mention that GH is waaaaaay too expensize. I've heard stories about dudes taking GH and getting huge and ripped from it. Unfortunately, for me, I did not experience these results.

I really believe GH is overated, but then again, I really did not stack it with anything, not even slin, so perhaps my lack of knowledge with regards to GH and its proper use was the main reason why I gave up.

GH around here goes for about $450/kit for Serostim 6mg. Serious $$$...

Thanks man, but I posted my diet just a few posts above yours. It's very simple at the moment. I think I should be eating more after realizing how little I really do eat! Damn, when you put it on paper, it seems like nothing, however, when you try to eat all that food, for me, it seems like more :D

I am also 5'5 and 177 but I don't look that big! It is really kick ass to see someone my height and that big. It really gives me something to shoot for. I am saving your picks for motivation!

I have a few questions if you get a chance.....


What is your off season weight? (don't drop down to light! You don't need to!!!)

How big are those guns?!?! Hard for me to tell from the pic but damn!

Any of your other measurements?????

Any advice that you could give would be great....i.e. what are the most important things to keep in mind (from your expereince...) ?

you dont even seem to be taking in hardly any protien. i guess you get most of your size from the carbs??????//your protien only looks like its around 180grams or so??????excellent job your my idol hopefully i can get half as cut naturally

Just a few quick newbie questions: (1) What is your current cycle? How long did you train naturally before taking the next step? How many have you done?

My cycle at the moment is a cutting cycle, and consists of the following:

300mg Suspension/week
75mg Fina/EOD

I plan to increase the Suspension to 400mg/week in about 2 weeks. Also, the Fina will be increased to ED, and I plan to take 100mg of Winstrol ED.

My off-season weight? Well, I've never done a show before, so I've never watched my off-season weight, but it's safe to say that I drop to 160 when I'm not cycling. I'm not a very big guy :D

My arms are about 18-18.5", and that's the only measurement I know.

The most important things I keep in mind are consistency and training hard. I've always trained heavy, absolutely nothing else, ever! It seems that after nearly 7 years of working out and having great partnes to motivate me, and eachother of course, the hard work is finally paying off.

My protein intake is actually a bit more than what I listed. And yes, carbs put weight on you and make you big.

I went to this same show a few years ago and let me tell you that I got a real kick out of all the cute chicks walking around. It was nice. Oh yeah, Ronnie was guesting posing that night too. Not really. I started doing cardio on Saturday, and before that, I haven't done cardio for over 6 months.

I do 1 hour on the cross trainer, 4 times per week. Twice in the morning (weekends), and twice after a work out (weekdays).

One other thing..you look great, especially for being 7 weeks out. Your conditioning looks about 3-4 weeks out. Take it slow these next few weeks. You don't want to peak 3 weeks out!
 
SAF, bro you look unbelievable......I hope to get there soon I am running a similar cycle in less thena week what should i do the cycle is fina, winny, and aratest. How should I run it. I am going to try your diet. If possible email me back at [email protected] and put in the subject cycle help, or just write back in the board.
 
You look great, but be careful because you do look to be about 3 weeks out. Maybe bump up the cals a bit for the next few weeks. You could add a meal, just don't do anything drastic from now until the show and you'll do great.
One thing I would recommend for the meantime is to experiment a little with what you plan to do the last 3 days before the show as far as carb load or fat load and water depletion.

Not really. My arms, and traps, and abs, and :D, are naturally big, so I really dont work them very hard.

I wrote on your post saying that i am doing a similar cycle i have three bottles of fina that i made, one bottle of winny, and one bottle of aratest, this will be my third cycle i am running it as a cut cycle and following yhour diet i was wondering howyou think that i should run it? Also I live on campus at college where I play football its hard to eat very good i try usually I eat tuna and salads and protien shakes/ bars everyday, so i can follow your diet? I have nitro tech protien though or should I get isopure. Sorry for asking all these questions but you look huge I am 5'6 182, i am busting my ass to look close to you so if you could please respond thanks bro. Get Big Everyday

Well, I just started *seriously* dieting on Monday. I dont eat any carbs after 3:30-4PM, and I am restricting my carbs to about 125-150/day. So far, so good. I read somewhere that glutamine helps reduce sugar and carb cravings while dieting, and since I just started taking glutamine this week, that may have something to do with it. But, again, it's only been a week :D

Aside from that, I dont have any cheat days; I'm assuming you mean a "carb up" day. From the looks of my dieting results so far, I will probably need a cheat day because it's only been 5 days of dieting, and my stomach already sucked down and my abs are busting out and looking good. My waist got smaller also because my pants feel looser. I wasn't expecting to see results this quick, so I think it's very important to monitor myself on a daily basis from this point on because I dont want to suck myself down too much. Then again, I'm aiming for the lightweight class, and I'm about 170 right now, and I neee to get down to 150 for the show. I have a good feeling that some quality muscle will be lost in the process, but I have no choice because I'll get killed in the middle weights, and that's a fact. It's wiser to be the heaviest in your weight class considering you have a much better chance of winning.

Damn SAF, you got a fan club now. Hows it feel? Seriously though you look awesome. Im 5'6" its cool to see someone close to my hieght lookin the way I want to look someday.We actually have a similar build in the sense of symetry and proportion. Very inspiring. You have to take some contest photos ,and post them with the final updates from the competition so we can all see how your hard work payed off for ya. Also it be nice if you could take a waistline measurement, and maybe a shoulder width (not circumfrance) stat. Good luck on the competition.

Oh yeah, sorry to post again but I forgot to ask something I was wondering about. You said youve lifted for 7 years and have done 9 cycles to date. And went from 140 to 177. In 7 years and 9 cycles, how come youve only managed to pack on 37 pounds? I mean thats a lot of beef by any means, but it seems to me that you should be a little heavier after 9 cycles IMO. What happened, did you not end some of your previous cycles properly resluting in a loss of LBM, or did you intentially drop the weight for cuts? Just curious ,cause I hope to have put on more than 37 pounds of LBM after Ive done 9 cycles. Thanks for any answers you can give me to my questions.

P.S. Can I be the president of your fan club? ;)

that's a good question. I cant remember the manner in which I came off my cycles over the last 7 years, but I can definitely say that I probably came off in all the wrong ways; no clomid, no tapering, etc. Only for the last 3 years did I understand how to diet properly. When I first started using AS, I had no idea how to diet, train, sleep, etc, to the point where all of these factors would work synergistically with each other to produce a better and more cost-effective look. I guess you can only learn how to do all of these things properly with experience. People need to understand that taking AS is not an easy ticket to having a physique that you desire. Unless you know how to eat and train properly, and of course how to stack properly :D, you are basically throwing your money out the window with AS. That's essentially what I did for several years. These days, it's a different story. There is so much information on the Internet regarding fitness, AS, pretty much anything, it's difficult to fuck things up because if you're doing something wrong, post a question, and a group of strangers tell you how to do it right :)

..and that's 37 pounds of 100% PURE BEEF BABY, but mostly from Big Mac's and Whoppers; only lately has it come from tuna and egg whites :D

when you run a cycle and end up gaining 20lb and keeping 15lb most of those gains are still not solid, realisticly, for every 1lb of muscle your body will pull in additional 3lb of water so you do the math, that is why you see pros weight 320lb in the off season and compete only at 240-250

I posted you about twice but since everyone saw this posts I know it's hard as shit to anwser everyones questions, but hopfully now you can help me out.....I am on a simalar cycle as you that I started three weeks ago I'm doing Fina weeks 1-8/75mg EOD...Winny weeks 4-End/ 50mg EOD...and Aratest weeks 1-10/ 250 Mon and Friday...I am trying to get more cut and down some BF%..I read what you said about your diet I am 5'6 and 184lbs about 10-12% BF, My legs are awsome arms are 16 1/2 and big chest, but I want to be more ripped in the stomach along with every where else...I sort of follow your diet with no carbs after 3:30pm..but what does you daily foods consists of, do you log your foods? Do you know what percentages of fats, carbs, proteins, and cals..Do you know what you take in? I am asking a lot of questions because our stats are similar and it's hard to find people with a short stocky build so I was wondering if you could help me out..>One last thing..whats your routine in the gym just for kicks......thanks bro
