5x5 missed day

Hey guys. I'm in the 5th week of my 5x5, and everything up to this point has been fine. Monday I didnt go to the gym due to illness, so I switched to Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, which isnt a big deal for me. But now, I've once again missed due to illness. Should I repeat week 5 next week or what?
 
Probably. It won't hurt you to do that week over again. But if you go into week 6 and the weight is too heavy b/c you missed a few workouts, you could stall.
 
If it were me, I'd re-do the week for saftey's sake, I hate missing reps more than anything.
 
Yeah I feel you on that. I totally forgot the gym closed so early today. If I realized that I would have gone with the pain. I hate that. I need a real gym.
 
I'd probably have as hard a time as anyone following this advice, but take the time you need to get reasonably healthy again. Forcing yourself into the gym when you're at 50% doesn't help much if it prolongs the illness.

Oh, and another vote for repeating the week, or even going back a week if you think you've lost some strength.
 
Dual Factor or Single Factor?

If DF then it doesn't really matter. You'll be deloaded and keen to start moving some challenging weights.

If SF then repeat the week, as everyone has said.
