I am pretty old school - I fully admit that. For example, I don't care what you can squat from a monolift. If you can't walk it out, you can't squat it.
The same goes for deadlift. If you need straps, the bar is too heavy for you. Don't get me started with shrugs, lat pull downs, or chins
