1000mg flax seed oil capsules

So I am going on a trip and would like to bring a bottle of 1000mg capsules in place of flax in liquid form. Does anyone know how many pills I would have to get in order to eqaul 1 tbsp? I tried searching on the net but could not find any sort of conversion because grams = weight and tbsp = volume? Of course on the back of the pill bottle it does not give the amount of fat per pill!! Maybe I am just retarted but any help would be appreciated.

20 x 6 = 120.

If one 1000 mg has only 500mg of fat, what are the other 500 mg ?
Is it the gelatin cap ?
You then pay a lot for gelatin
