'00+ GSXR-600 or GSXR-750??

This is a take off of Grandmaster's thread. I am in the market for a newer bodystyle GSXR... Anything below an open classer. I'm torn between the 600 and the 750. The 750 has always been my dream bike, but I keep hearing that the 6 is creeping on the 750's performance... I've been riding on and off for about 3 years... I have a TL1000 right now, which is a torque monster... but I want the agility and the sound of that 4...

Comments? Questions? Suggestions?

The 2000 600 is big. If you want the 600 go at the least with an 01. The 2000 750 on the other hand is the predecessor to the 04 which fuckin rocks. It was bike of the year.

that is exactly what I was thinking... price/benfit of the 01 600 and the 00 750 are close...

and an undertail kit IS required lol

I love the 750. Its an awesome bike. The difference between the 600 and 750 is going to be so minute` you will probably not even notice it. Why not go with the liter bike? I believe its this years bike of the year. I could be wrong though.

honestly, a) I cant afford the liter... b) the roads here CT & Mass are so tight and windy and crowded, alot of the performance would just go to waste. I'd rather have the balance of agility/power/throttle response that the two lower class bikes have.

gsx-r1000 go big

I am not a Suzuki fan, but if I had to choose between the two, I would hands down go for the 750. It is a better all around bike.
