because those are both isolation movements. isolation movements bring out the detail and striations in that muscle. when people go heavy on isolation movements, they sacrifice form and less tension is actually put on the muscle.

I dont know about that. Your muscle knows resistance period. Its easier to lose form most likely BUT still takes alot more strength to KEEP that form...so is it harder or easier?
Its good but his form is so fuckin horrible. He could probably do less weight better form which would still be a lot of weight but yea its like the guy doing 1/4 squats and saying he actually did one.
