cool cats "RULE". But if you've got a self absorbed flaky indifferent little twit, than yes they can be "quite" annoying. The cool ones though, they're like little lap doggies that you don't have to walk every morning or worry about bathing, until they get old at least. But you're not going to take em running nor go to the park and play fetch with em........so there are drawbacks to both animals. I personally would prefer to have one of each. THe coolest animal interactions I've ever been privy to were between a dog and a cat that got along. That cat would literally scale the drapes halfway to the ceiling, than drop like a shock trooper on the dog as it came by. Dog would then proceed to chase cat around entire house at which point the cat than crawled right back up the drapes and did the same shit. Absolutely priceless. You gotta raise em together though........obviously.

Fuckin' A, I'll side with a coprophiliac over a cat hater any day of the week.
Sounded so nice it needed to be said twice.
However, you forgot to mention two other things that makes dogs totally suck: Dog Farts and Incessant, Mindless Barking.
Cats are annoying to people who place themselves directly in contact with the cat.
Dogs are worse than second hand smoke, they annoy anyone within nose or ear shot.

Some cats are tolerable provided these conditions:
1. They arent mine and I dont have to take care of them
2. I see them 1-2 times per year
3. Their owners clean up the fucken shedding that they always do
4. They chase shit like dogs.
Worthless creatures in my opinion. No sporting qualities, selective affection, selective if any loyalty, allergens to the max, litter boxes are fucken gross, and the owners of cats I generally could care less about.
Let's just say I wouldnt flinch if they all disappeared.

you've been around too many untrained dogs. Dogs are exactly like children....if you let em rule the roost, they will make you want to kill them. A dog who barks incessantly does so out of nueroticism brought on by neglect. They are high energy animals that need a "focus". Too many people get "work" dogs that have an instinct to do some sort of "work". Keep them from that and they'r energy will sublimate itself into one destructive thing or another. But they do stink. You really got to bathe em once a week or they start to smell like an old back of frito's.
