Ectomorph supplement Help!

Hey, guys I'm a little clueless when it comes to supplements and putting on Mass. I always seem to be in and out of the gym dealing with lower back problems, but I am determined to put on mass. I just started a workout program last week, but because my normal web source is dead I've been on the elite forums getting a new routine and prospective. I'm currently 6'0 and 175. I bench about 200lbs. One of the other members on here hooked me up with this 3 day workout.

Bill Starr - Glenn Pendlay 5x5 - Periodized Version, Dual Factor Theory

Right now my plan is just my norm when lifting. I take 2 servings of Cytogainer everyday of the week ( approx 900 calories and 54 grams of proteing per serving.) Is this a good plan or should I ditch the gainer and just go with Whey Protein? Please help, I want to put on mass, but I'm clueless and I don't have a huge budget for supplements. Thanks

You have to increase your calories to gain weight bro. I was in your shoes a little over a year ago. 6'2" 175 lbs. I got pics of it in the pics section. I just started eating every freaking thing in sight. I put on 50 pounds in 12 months. Not all lean, but it was mass.

Cals in vs cals out bro. Us ectomorphs need LOTS of cals in to put on weight.

As far as supplements go, a good weight gainer will help.

Shoot for 5 meals a day, 800-1000 calories each meal. That will do the trick.

So, man thing I really need to worry about is calorie intake? I can do that. Anything else?

Absolutely. Calorie intake is the only thing that detrmines gaining weight or losing it.

There are other factors like metabolism rate etc, but those things are counteracted by, yep, adding more or less calories to achieve the desired result.
