Personally, I wouldn't recommend, but its not as bad as people are making out.
The only study comparing whole milk and skim milk on isocaloric formulations PWO (which means the whole milk had less protein) convincingly said. See
Is It Necessary to “Spike Insulin Post-workout? | Kelly Frankson DOT COM (I can't actual journal, but have seen it before):
"Elliot and colleagues compared the effect of fat-free milk, whole milk, and a higher dose of fat-free milk (to match the calories of the whole milk) taken 60 minutes post-resistance exercise.24 Whole milk was superior for increasing net protein balance. Interestingly, the calorie-matched dose of fat free milk containing 14.5g protein, versus 8.0g in the whole milk (an 81% advantage), but still got beaten. The investigators speculated over the possible mechanisms behind the outcome (insulin response, blood flow, subject response differences, fat content improving nitrogen retention), but end up dismissing each one in favor of concluding that further research is necessary to see if extra fat calories ingested with an amino acid source will increase muscle protein synthesis. Lingering questions notwithstanding, post-workout milkfat was the factor that clinched the victory – at least in overnight-fasted subjects."

The reality is many prescribed PWO formulations (dex; WMS) haven't actually been supported by science.
Indeed, needto posted a study comparing honey and dex, and dex didn't win despite honey containing 50% of the "evil" fructose.
540 calories, 260 carbs, 29 grams of fat, 25 grams of protein.
So, they got one of these Mc Donald's right next to my gym. 3.75 for two of these big macs.
I've been getting the 2 for a few days now everytime after i lift and eat it for a PWO meal.
I KNOW its bad. I KNOW you dont want fats like this after working out.
I need someone to verbally kick my ass and tell me to stop doing this. While you're at at explain to me why I shouldn't drink beer and eat all around shitty.
I get good calories in, 4 - 5k with high protein...But I'll admit my diet has gotten bad lately.
If anyone is bored, verbally kick my ass please.
THANKS
