my roommate tried to kill herself

by overdosing on aspirin. She was passed out in the living room foaming at the mouth; paramedics said she was 'ok for now' as they took her away in a stretcher. Does that mean she is guaranteed pull through? I am worried about how her kidneys/liver will handle it because she is anorexic. Also is she going to become a ward of the state for a while? Are suicide attempters released when they get better or do they go straight to a pysch center?

lol i feel bad for thinking about that already, but it's the same lease =/. She's actually the one who signed it, but i don't think that matters in this case, since i live there and my name is on it

Sounds like her well-being is out of your control. Will she be back anytime soon? I would talk to management about the situation, maybe you can work something out.

omg that is awful! Just awful. I have no idea what okay for now means. I really hope she ends up okay....Yikes.

Best of luck with that Nimbus............... Curious as to why she would be a ward of the state.. Does she not have her own Physician and an Attorney?
