haha...here's a true story.
I had a gay couple come into my dealership wanting to get financed on a vehicle. The first guy (the man?) filled out the application and I sent it off to my sub prime bank. I got the DQ reason being that he had 3 BK's on his bureau. Now I wouldn't have even sent it to my bank with that many BK's but one of them didn't show up on our end, but did on the banks. So I call the customer and let him know that I can't get him approved for those reasons. So he says that they will come down and his partner will try. So I tell him that would be fine and schedule a time for them to come back in.
So they show up and I start asking the other partner (female?) a few questions and come to find out he has no job, and his only income is $600 a month from SSI. I put my pen down and say, "i'm sorry, but I can't get you financed on only a $600 a month income. He proceeds to say well I can use my partners income, and I stop him and say that for one I cannot use his partners income because he doesn't qualify for credit through this bank and that each applicant must qualify. He holds up his ring finger and goes off on me how they are a couple. I so wanted to say congrats, but too bad the State of CO doesn't recognize that but I didn't. He tells me that I'm discriminating him and he's gonna sue me blah blah blah. I tell him that i'm not discriminating him at all and that he can't expect a bank to give him an auto loan on $600 a month income, not to mention that most sub prime banks (including the one i'm talking about) are privately owned and they can pretty much decline anyone for any reason. So the other guy (male?) says fine lets go, and as they leave that little bitch is still talking shit on the way out holding his little purse and then he says he's going to go off on me. I stand up and proceed to escort them to the door.
I couldn't believe that lil fag pulled the gay card on me. I was trying to help, and somehow it was my fault that they couldn't pay their bills, and had no income.
But the rest of my employees found it to be incredible hilarious. LOL

It is funny. It's also funny you sell cars for a living.

I think this is stereotyping gone mad BUT I will say that all of my gay friends (dudes, not the chicks) really are pretty emotional about a lot of things. I've had my favorite Starbucks barista burst into tears on his last day and he made a huge scene in the drive thur. Also, my MAC cosmetic salesman complained to me about his boyee troubles and he started to cry right there in Nordstrom.
I dunno, maybe I bring it out of them. I feel like a counselor. My older gay friends however have less drama and my lesbian friends are all much more level headed and cool than me. Odd.

AIG is tied into a lot of other banks, so pretty much everyone with a savings account suffers at least a little in this mess.
For a somewhat politically incorrect commentary on that issue, I found this -

I highly doubt that one. I know where JR lives and what he does. I also know what a high producing car salesperson makes. His entry level is basically a top tiered producer in the auto bidness.
