Going under the knife.

I've put it off too long. I go in for rotator cuff surgery in the morning. I've just kept putting it off and covering it up with AAS. Really dreading being laid up and not lifting. I go nuts if I'm not busy. I like my job so I'm not even looking forward to missing work. They're doing some nerve flush that deadens the arm for 24 hours. That should be strange. Guess I'll do a rehab log! Haha Wish me luck! After the fall comes the rise!

Good luck!

Nerve block with your arm dangling is the strangest feeling ever, butt it's great for pain management :)

Great story

Ive had 3 rotator cuff surgeries rob, youre a rookie

Any pointers bro? Besides attempting the "Phantom" rub out. Haha

I really want to be back at work by next Thursday. All I have to do is sit at a desk 9 hours so I hope I can at least do that.

how long till you were back in the gym and will/are you 100%
i'm in the same boat as the op and not looking fwd to it

Varies person to person and depends on the details of the surgeries but in general I think i was back in the gym around 4 months. My left side is weaker than right side when it comes to benching/incline dumbells but its not that bad. The thing to remember is not to go all the way down on benching from now on after the surgery so you dont torque the cuff. Wish I had known this 20 years ago and would have saved my ass all the cuff wear and tear and saved the surgeries.
