Car Peeps - advice

The Speedster photos look great. Shut lines are perfect, that's a nice quality replica. Let's see a picture of the engine.

I think you should keep it.

agreed, from the outside it looks really nice.

Upgrade the motor and brakes if that's an issue.

This thread reminds me my father's got a '60 (or so) Speedster he's never touched it. Ran with he got it, doesn't anymore, and I guarantee you he'll never restore it.

Deebs - it is growing on me. I think you are right and I appreciate your opinion. I took pictures of the engine last night. I would post but I dont' think you can see anything.

Strange looking little contraption. Not quite sure what it is. Some sort of 5 cylinder job. Found a made in Taiwan sticker on it. Going to be pissed if this is an engine off a scooter - lol.

BTW - took me forever to figure out how to open the engine compartment.

Besides, looking at the rest of your garage, it looks like you've already got the fast modern cars that handle well department covered pretty well.

Are you sure you're looking at it right? This seems highly unlikely.

Try taking pictures in the daylight... :)

Does the driver's door have to be open to find the release handle?

Yeah- right behind the driver's seat. You are right - engine is 4 cylinder with dual carbs. Does that sound right?
