You should just tell her, the fact she bought it for you and got it wrong means she wanted to make an effort but failed in the knowledge department, explain to her why even though it is an awesome car it's just not mechanically/motor-wise what you were looking for, I wouldnt dare get my husband a car before A. checking with him or at least B. be absolutely sure the make, model, color, features and engine he wants, it's risky....

nah...she stopped in altoona on her way to west virginia, looked at a car that she had found on the dealer's website, showed them her car, made the deal, put down a deposit on it then continued on to w va...i worked out the details over the phone and via e-mail...we're gonna pick it up this saturday.

on a funny side note...while she was in w va, my fucking father-in-law backed into her car...nice...fuggin' redneck drivers
