I make reserve money on every finance deal. Gap I typically include unless they're putting more than 20% down, but it's not a very big money maker unless it's a high end unit. My penetration on ext. warranties lately is off the charts though.

what is the purchase price based on? is there a formula spelled out in the company's shareholder agreement? i've never been west of the mississippi in my life...i could do a little business valuation work for you...i'm working on a couple of used car dealerships right now, so the industry and economics are pretty fresh in my mind...maybe i could bring home a new wagon queen family truckster for my wife and we could do a little bartering on the fee for services
