So I just had lunch with one of my best friends, and she pretty much told me that when she gets married in December, she and her fiance plan on entering in to a "Christian Domestic Discipline" relationship a.k.a. she and her fiance have agreed that he may physically punish her when she does something wrong (but she may not punish him back).

I mean if that works for them, good for them, but I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid in said wedding in support of a marriage type I don't actually support.

Discuss.







(And I already know I'm going to get a few of you telling me that's how it should be)

I think you should still be a bridesmaid.

Did they determine this was how they were going to live after or before the engagement?

Yeah, they're living this way after marriage. It'd be hard now seeing as they aren't living together.

She's been my best friend for a while now so it def comes as a shock. She's never said/acted like this before. I was speechless.
