Clean bulking: healthy sources of fat?

james_shier

New member
I've recently started bulking again, but am not sure about clean/healthy sources of fat. I really don't want to spend any more on vitamins or supplements. I'm doing 3day split workout, compound exercise-based but with no cardio warmup or warmdown. So I'm a bit worried about the cholesterol in stuff like egg yolks and whole milk.

Any help would be welcome

raw nuts
olive oil
flax oil/seeds
all natural peanut butter
fish oil

I guess you could consider fish and flax "supplements" but they are actually food :), and we recently learned you can buy it cheap at sam's/costco

Second this. Salmon and other fish have great fats.

is cod liver oil ok?

it is acceptable although has recently been under scrutiny as far as whether or not it is as good as other oils. but it's cheaper!

walnut oil is also great and tastes yummy (compared to fish/flax seed oil) but I can hardly find some (at an acceptable price)
