wrestling as a grappling art to supplement my striking?

thoughts? someone with a judo background was dead against it for a fighting POF (he also does kali and thai)....

but the holds, submissions and breakouts should be the same/applicable to fighting a BJJ or sambo guy, right? just no locking etc, which i can apply myself from kali/kung fu

whatcha think...this is close by, but i can always search for a BJJ school. i;d love to do sambo but i;ll doubt ill find a teacher

I like that option, but I love freestyle wreslting and greco-roman. suit my bodytype better

wrestlers are evil. The speed you will gain is unmatched. not the same though as bjj/ sambo. it's your defense/ anti bjj that you will gain. look at couture, coleman, ortiz, goodrich- they're all wrestlers- they're very slick against it.
