All basic drama about cheating on him aside, because if this is his "first" he will get hurt true enough, and it is something he'll just have to deal with himself because the fact is, he will be hurt many more times in his life.......However, you do need to tell him because this is something that directly concerns his health and wellbeing. In 1997 I had a buddy that was dating a branch manager of a prominent dating service for about 8 months. She was his second piece of ass and HOT as hell! I was used to seeing her out with a different guy everytime I saw her (She did happy hour at my friends martini bar.), granted her office was across the street from the bar so I figured she was just shmoozing prospective clients. Anyway, turns out she WAS the dating service.......I found this out after a girl I was givin' the MOJO to at the bar saw her come in and walk right past her without acknowledging her. This pissed my "girl" off, as she proceeded to tell me about this insane little freakfest she had with my bro's girl and 3 other people about a month prior. If that wasn't enough, it turns out that one of the guys involved in the freakfest was a local sportscaster with whom she had been having a relationship (of sorts) with for the past 5-6 months. I was in the same spot you are, and I decided to tell him. Not because I didn't want him to be hurt (like I said, he will have to learn to deal with hurt on his own.) and she was a slut. I told him because of the health factor and STD's. He was upset and hurt and broke it off with her right away. He thanked me, got tested and all was well....................................Until 2002! He got a call from her and was informed that she was indeed HIV positive! She was doing the right thing by calling people that she had been with, (within a certain time period) to advise them so they could be tested. Well he got tested and did in fact come back clean! Turns out she contracted this from an investment banker client of hers approx. a year after my bro broke it off with her, she found this out while making her phone calls. Sorry this response is so long but you can see why it is important to at least advise him of the situation and let him deal with that on his own, but he does have the right to know! You see how many people just one idiot affected, or almost infected.......Cuz if she didn't walk into the bar when she did I probably would have slept with the girl from the "freakfest" and been in the same boat!
