I'm not so sure I agree with the "if you can't quit don't lift" comment. If you are going to smoke anyway why not lift to minimize the negative effects of smoking. You may not reach your pinnicale performance potential but you will still gain significantly.
I smoke about 3, 4, or 5 cigs a day and I gain pretty consistently maybe not as much as I should be but better than nothing at all.
I will give you one bit of info... smoking definitely ruins your dick. I was studying ICPs and vasodialotors for the treatment of impotence. Do you know what the major causes of impotence are?
1. Diabetes
2. High blood preasure
3. Smoking
4. High cholestrol
...in that order. If you don't care about your own dick, remember, it won't care about you.
I know I know I shouldn't smoke but I got sued a bunch of times it stressed me out and I haven't been able to totally quit. I have cut it down to less than a half a pack a day. My question is does that many hurt gains some dude said yes but I have never heard that before.
