Why I may NEVER have a six pack (mod, vet opinions?)

Ok, so concerned about puffy nips i've had since my fat days, I went to the doctor who referred me to a specialist. I went to see this guy for two things. Gyno possibility and lose skin around my lower abs. His did a check over, arm up, felt the skin, adipoise tissue, glands etc and told me he see's no gyno and that honestly it's just slightly looser skin from when I was a fatty. He says there is minimal fat underneath the nipple and certainly no lumps or gyno to be removed. He told me i could have a procedure done that kinda shirnks the size of the nipple, but that i'd be purely cosmetic (no coverage) and that i'd have to wear a kinda girnie under my shirt for like 2-3 weeks. He asked me if i thought all that was really worth it. He also said the difference would only be slight at best.

The second thing is i have excess lose skin around my lower abdominal area that wont go way. Upper abs come out, lowers remain hidden. Again he felt the skin the area and had me show in just below on my midsection like around my hip area. He said again while pinching the skin together that he feels very little fat underneith and that yes it is an excess of skin. He said when examining just below that the muscles are well devloped and that he could see how my body liked to store the fat prodominatly on my gut there (spare tire area if you will). He said an option is a tummy tuck. He said that he woudnlt recomend it in my case. He told me and showed me pics of the hip to hip scar it would leave. He said for many girls after pregnancy, it's ok cause the scar is hidden most of the time, then he asked but why put something there that doesn't really need to be and isn't there already (the scar). He told me i should be happy with my body and that I have a great physique with not a lot of bodyfat, he said its much more of a lose skin issue. I said well why the hell do some fat guys who drop a ton of weight dont have any lose skin issues, and he said it's simply genetics and unfortunatly you cant turn back the clock and tell yourself what you're doing isn't going to be good 5years down the road. Live and learn. I asked well what if i loose some more bf? He said you can loose a bit more, it may make a slight difference in appearance but thats it. I asked about gh too. He said he hasn't read any studies for using gh for that purpose and couldn't comment. It was kind of discouraging day to be honest.

Anyways folks just thought i'd share my story. I have no recent pics as of right now, i'll post two link for comparision though.

-wow jay cutler makes me look skiny :)

I'll post some new pics in the pic forum soon, i'm a bit larger and leaner than that photo with jay, once i tan and drop a couple more lbs, the pics will go up. lol - as is im sure the case with everyone else and their dog running some sort of cutting regime right now!

if skin elasticity is your concern
how old are you?
do you smoke? if so stop
have you tried running a low dose AI when off cycle? your fat pattern appears to be oestrogenic.
have you tried yohimburn?
do you have carb issues (sometimes associated with that fat storage pattern)

What did this doctor specialize in?

hGH will tighten up skin, its part of the hyperplasia (which will thicken skin and organs though). hGH is considered the fountain of youth

I have similar lower abdominal issues... life isn't always fair, but it is the price you pay for the choices u made earlier in life. Tons of people made lifestyle decisions in their youth that affect them in worse ways than a little ab fat affects reformed fatties. Also:

#1 Doctors always have differing opinions and another surgeon might tell you that he has a procedure that he believes can help.

#2 Diagnosis are always ALWAYS proved wrong, and if u don't want to buy into it then don't. Doctors are especially years behind the bodybuilding community but furthermore belief in yourself is what matters. Terminal cancer patients survive every day. There are hundreds of thousands of low carb dieters no more prone to heart attacks than vegetarians, etc. Fuck discouraging advice.

How many people have you proved wrong just to get to the point u're at now?

I agree 100%. I had gyno in both sides and had two surgeries, one for each side. Some doctors I went to told me I didn't have gyno when it was obvious I did. Some doctors are just plain f#$%ing stupid.

damn dude! i think if i was you i could live without a six pack considering the drastic changes you made physically. that's pretty fucking impressive. did you lose all that fat natuaraly then start a cycle? either way that's impressive. good work.

Dr Skier, let me just say that you kicked some ass with that transformation! You like like a whole different person... I've heard that same things from Doctors, "Why would a young guy like you want to mess around with surgery". It's actually a good question, because surgery does carry a risk of death or infection with it. Bump for more info... Good stuff.. :coffee:

I'm sure if you hit up some "feminine" messageboards about appearances, they will recommend some sort of day-spa type wrap treatment that can tighten skin, though how permanent it is , who knows.
