yup. I agree with you, Test boy. It seems women who post here with a modicum of intelligence or reasoning ability get slammed heartlessly.

Kinda like when Jay Leno interviews strong women, he gets defenseive and weird, even though he is otherwise funny, light, and entertaining. I witnessed this when he interviewed Judge Judy, the star of GirlFight, Geena Davis and a host of other less docile, less male-pleasing types of women.

I don't agree or disagree on the subject...perspective is everything on this matter...if you have done AS you feel differently about them and there is probably some prejudice toward or against them. There are heavy, solid arguments for both sides.

People, not just men, find women who assert their intellect to be threatening, and possibly masculine.

And we talk bad about other societies that put women down. We are also afflicted with the illness.

Thanks strongchick...you are right as well with your observations.
This is my take on our state of affairs:
1) Most men are full of shit.
2) Most women are full of shit.
3) Our society is fucked up bad.

if you read my responses i gave arguementsd for and against your point. i feel i contributed in a fairly intelligent manner, and in an un-biast way in both cases.

in fact my only 'fault' is that i said something mildly critical of you.

i just stated i think the insults were silly and pointless and that i didnt agree with them.

and i told you to research stigmatisation becasue from the way you asked the question, you obviously paid little regard tp the feelings of those you intended it for, and people have agreed with me (strongchick etc). you snap at me as a result of this. so maybe you should research it as it will giove you an insight into other people

its no sign of weakness to look at opposing points of view especially from other peoples viewpoints, infact its a sign of menatl strength. admitting you might have done somethin wrong instead of bulldozing into a thread insulting shows strength of mind. hell im not even saying your point of view is wrong. im just saying you should have altered the way you asked the question. a minor point which may have lessened the flames on you. plus you continue to insult on a thread you puport to be an intelligent discussion. i posted it to make you realise it never could be from the start. ok

That was not the point. You have every right to express your opinions and defend your stance on whatever issue is discussed. However, IMHO, a moderator (especially, someone of your intellect) should not stoop so low as to engage in pathetic little internet flame wars. Just my $.02.
