What made you do it?

I'm not seeking any sympathy or congratulations in this I want to say up front. This is more so that fit, muscular guys can understand a little better when guys say they're 26% bodyfat and want to do gear. Just my personal experience in why i started doing gear, and what I've learned:

In November of 2005, my dad was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer, which is very rare, and is caused by chronic obesity and chronic stress, as well as smoking. My dad never smoked a cigarette or cigar in his life. Most people who are diagnosed, live an average of 2-5 months.

He was obese in every sense of the word. He only weighed 220, but was carrying no muscle density, wore a 3xl shirt... was basically a butterball. Guy couldn't walk up the stairs at the Phoenix Suns games without sitting down in the aisle on the way up.

I played professional soccer, college football, and am very athletic which I get from my mother who played 2 college sports at a time when women sports weren't prevelant. But I also got his genes, and when I stopped actively playing sports, I balooned from 185 to 275 in about 8 months. And I had tried several times to lose it with no luck.

When he died, I got scared naturally. I was to heavy to run (which as a soccer player was the only cardio I had ever done), couldn't afford a personal trainer at the time to do consistent work with, and to be honest, didn't have the motivation to eat right. I spent the first 24 years of my life eating twinkies and burgers, having it offset with having 3 hours practices for high level sports every day since I was 5 probably. It wasn't a good time.

I went to an HRT clinic in suburban Phoenix, and spoke with their doctor about it. At the clinic that day, I was 272 pounds, 29% body fat. Now, obviously the cycle I'm about to put down contains Tren, which isn't a prescription drug, which i got from another source, but it was recomended to me.

He put me on the following:
1-20 Test Enanthate (starting at 250, pyramiding up to 750)
1-10 Anavar at 50mg a day
1-8 Tren Enanthate at 500mg a week
9-16 Winstrol Suspension 100mg a day
8-20 Primbolan Depot 400mg a week
4iu HGH every day

and I took a cytomel/clenbuterol combo for the first 8 weeks

Now, for someone with a high body fat percentage, most wouldn't reccomend gear. And I'd agree usually. But I found out from my experience, that for people who are unmotivated (but want to be), have bad genetics or hypo-thyroid syndrome (like I do naturally), or people who are possibly in danger of becoming diabetic... gear can be the ultimate motivator to get someone to start living a cleaner life.

I went from eating anything and everything, drinking anything and everything, and working out sporatically simply because I couldn't force myself to go in the gym when I need to... to the following

2400 calories daily split up into 6 meals
Eating basically oatmeal, organic cereals, chicken, brown rice..
Drinking only soy milk, water and gatorade

Lifting splits were the following:
Monday - Chest/Tri's
Tuesday - Beck/Bi's
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Shoulder's/Tri's
Friday - Lots of core work
Saturday - Legs

Also did 40 minutes of cardio on an empty stomach in the morning
And 20-30 minutes after my lifting

This was an EXTREME turnaround. And yes, it would have been healthier and better if I had lost weight before I put gear in my system. But the gear is what motivated me to do the rest. Without the extra "push" in my system, knowing I had help if I could do the rest, was huge for my mentality.

20 weeks later when the cycle ended I was 225 with 7% bodyfat and because my metabolism has totally changed, I'm able to maintain it without gear. When my dad died in November of 2006 a year after being diagnosed, he was no longer worried about his son eventually having the same fate and it obviously has taken the same thought out of my mind, and most importantly out of my mom's mind.

Now... on the contrary to everything I just said:
The guys on this board are 100% correct in their way of thinking when they tell you you shouldn't use gear if your at a high bf%. The reason is, if you don't get your ass in the gym, and get your nutrition in line, the gear will do mroe harm than good. They assume if you have that high percentage, you obviously don't care enough about it to do anything to fix it. You can stick yourself with 1000mg of Test, high levels of tren, winstrol, etc etc... and if you just sit around eating doughnuts all day... the gear will make you big, bloated, soft, and give you somst tits to go with it.

Only reason I put down my story, which I'm sensative about, is because IF everything is in line, the gear can work twice as fast if your big like I was and it can motivate you to work your ass off because your seeing quicker results. But they don't give the results to you. I personally still feel nutrition is more important than the training, because without the right food, it won't matter.

Admission to make: Yes I am doing a cycle soon for the cosmetic purpose of gear, I'm no saint!

Good story bro. Sorry to hear about your loss of your dad, but it's great that you can self reflect and make a change for the better. It's definitely true what you're saying about gear and excercise/diet.

You sound like you're on the right track. Good luck .. so the cycle you're going to do , are you under the docs care or is this stuff you u got somewhere else? Curious if you've been to Revolution Med. clinic down on 24st with Dr. Jess...
