They showed a theoretical face of what Jesus would have looked like on the discovery channel. It looked nothing nothing like the pictures they drew of him. The paintings were all of Roman faces and not Jewish faces like Jesus's.

Most picturs are him on the Cross. His sadness represents the inner turmoil of sacrificing himself for humanity and there sins. Also it is this sadness that many others (people) believe in genocide (against the Jewsect..) that is portrayed in the pictures before he gives his life for us......
