Why do pictures of Jesus....

The mysterious picture... tested and they can't figure out what the imprints are made of. They said it's not blood, paint, etc. Even the marks the bible said he received were in that wrapping, thorns on the head, pieces of his beard missing, cut on his side, and hands and feet from the nails. All the marks were on that fabric.

Also... curling... as we know Jesus was a carpenter. Did he quit his work once he realized he needed to spread the word of God?

As I understand, the bible says nothing about Jesus actually being carpenter, only that he was the son of a carpenter.

Why are his years between boyhood and preaching missing? To get the plot moving.

There is no controversey. The fabric on that cloth has been carbon dated to around 1300. And no, they didn´t accidentally test the parts that were replaced after the cloth was burned.
