Why did I watch the decapitation video?

I know this is fucked up and I don't want to make light of it but why fuck would an American be in Iraq right he didn't have to be? ie Soilders, reports. And being there by yourself is even more crazy. The more I hear about the story it seems like he didn't really realize what he was getting himself into going there but of course he didn't deserved what happened to him.

I think it would be the sheer helplessness that would get to me. It would be different 5 on 1 with him on his feet and able to fight back, even if he still died, but laying there like a bound pig, with no chance of getting away and realizing right away he was going to die in the next minute or so...

he was totally helpless...

he had to have been drugged. I can't fathom someone just sitting there "waiting" to be killed. That's not human nature. Unless he had just accepted his fate and was waiting for it to hurry up and be over.

I don't know what the deal was- but those bastards woud never take me alive...

Anyways, did anyone ever see that clip with the pizza guy who robbed a bank with a bomb chained to his neck and then the bomb blew up and it was caught on film. I don't think they ever found out who sent him in to rob the bank. How sad.

I downloaded this Berg clip for a friend and almost watched it myself, but as soon as the dude pulled out that big fucking knife and hanked the poor kid's hair I closed it down.

That shit just gives me the willies. I hope those Islamist get what's coming to them. That I probably wouldn't mind watching.

I'm sure some of them have. I read something from the father were he was glad it was decapitation and not some long torture.

I watched it and i haven't been the same since. When you hear about someone being beheaded I automatically assume a sword blow or guillotine. They just took a knife and sawed his head off. You have to be a sub-human to do that.

I havent watched the video and dont plan too. Those videos always stick in my head for so long. I cant stand to see/hear people in pain, especially helpless people. Its not as bad for me if i know the person could fight. Just hearing you all talk about it gives me a sick/adrenaline type feeing through my body.

Maybe it makes me a bad person but i have been an advocate for just wiping that whole place out from the get go. These people are despicable and they are animals.
We cant allow things like this to happen again.

If it comforts you to believe that, go ahead. I think it's more likely that his last moments were filled with sheer horror and unimaginable pain.
