I watched the video and the most striking or should I say disturbing is how "GOD IS GREAT". Most attrocoties are committed in the name of God.

he had to have been drugged. I can't fathom someone just sitting there "waiting" to be killed. That's not human nature. Unless he had just accepted his fate and was waiting for it to hurry up and be over.

I honestly don't think he knew what was about to happen. I think he simply thought he was being displayed on TV while they made some demands or threats or something. When they hit him and throw him down and he starts to scream, I think he then realized he was in serious trouble. Only then does he start to fight back, even though it was hopeless.

No, one must simply be irrational. If I kill your family, would you still hold that they have no importance in the "grand order of things"? Would you hold to nihilism and shrug it off as "shit happens"?

No, you misunderstood. Of course, I would attempt to hunt you down and end your life without remorse as I understand this reaction of mine to be natural. Not just nihilism, but knowing that I am after all, only an animal, may actually protect me in times of stress. I have tried in the past to reconcile good and evil with religion and failed. I believe in a higher power, but do not accept the concept of an interactive god. We as the human animal invented "Good" and "Evil" to understand our frightening surroundings and define absolute rules of conduct for society's survival. However, with increasing globalization, diverging interpretations of "Good" and "Evil" are creating ever more strive and conflict until we are truly unified and of one cultur. Reliance on religion, IMHO seems to be in the way of this.

I read the paper yesterday and decided no way in hell I would watch that and hear the gurgling of blood. Today I find myself wanting to see their brutality and in some way it fuels an angry fire inside me. I am afraid I will bitch slap the next towel head who makes eye contact with me, grocery store, walmart, dillard's...you towel headed bastards better stay indoors for a while. damnit, I guess I am thankful I have not been able to locate the video today. I really want to slap someone, my punching bag did not relieve the agression I feel today. I pounded my bag for 30 minutes this morning, and I actually cried for him and his family this morning. damnit, I officially think arabs should be deported ALL OF THEM. bastards
