Why are there no canadian teams in the NFL?

Baseball and Basketball both have teams in Canada, why doesn't the NFL?

There is no market in Canada. They could never afford to pay outrageous salaries. A Canadian football team would go out of business very quickly.

This year in the CFL if you were making 1,000,000 yearly, you were in the top 3% of the league.

I didnt mean a personal thing, goverment wise,nfl is a american thing, canada is trying to keep football independant with our own league,plus diff rules

why wouldnt a team in canda be able to afford salaries? i think more people like football here than basketball. do you think the players on the raptors get low pay because their team is in canada?
