you can't call any "sport specific" athlete best "all around athlete". What's lebrons 40? What's his 225 max? But if you go with a guy with a good combine score, than can he hit a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer from 30 feet...??
That's why I personally am starting to view top tier MMA fighters as perhaps the best all around athletes alive. What they have to incorporate athletically to be the best in their divisions is ridiculous. Strength, speed, timing, stamina......and last but certainly not least, ridiculous skill. You can say what you want about the pressure of performing in an NBA game when it comes down to the buzzer.....but Lebron isn't getting punched in the face while he's hitting that J.
Honestly, from what I"ve seen of Lesnar.....that dude might be the best athlete on the planet. Strength that most men only fantasize about, ridiculous size, redunkulous speed to go along with that size, and stamina like a welterweight. I guarantee you there are not a whole lot of 270 pound shredded athletes out there that have his gas. It's almost unheard of. Guys that size are supposed to tire out after the first round. It's just not fair.
Skillwise still remains to be seen, he hasn't been fully tested yet.
