Whose the best athlete in all profesional sports

alexander karelin once went 6 years without allowing an opponent to score a single point against him. . .and greco-roman wrestling (especially in the 130kg+ weight class) is significantly more physically demanding than golf. . .karelin wrote the book on "dominance". . .no one else is even on the radar screen. . .

Ever heard of a guy named Fedor Emelienenko?

I don't think you can say one person is the best in all sports. You have to break it down individually into the sports themselves.

For example, Phil Taylor won about 9 world dart championships. That's total dominance like Tiger Woods in golf. There are curlers who have won almost that many titles in their respective sports. Same with skaters and skiers. You just don't hear about them because of the media.

Lebron is only a god in the US and maybe Japan. Worldwide people don't give a damn about basketball. Same with baseball except include the Carribean. Folks in Asia and Europe laugh at American football.

You have to look at ALL sports, not just north american hyped up media fed superstars.

karelin was undefeated from 1987 through 2000. . .and during a 6 year period of that streak, he was also unscored upon. . .if fedor can put together a 6 year period of wins where none of his opponents ever even gets a chance to punch him in the face. . .call me. . .

Randy Moss. The most dangerous offensive weapon in football history. We'll never know his full potential because no QB has ever been able to take full advantage of it. Brady is doing better than everyone else has and showed us a better glimpse at the real possibilities, but even Brady often underthrows him when he's behind the defense. The guy who coached him when he trained for 2 days to win the southern conferece indoor track meet was Carl Lewis's olympic track coach as well, and said that Randy is the best runner he's ever seen. He won the state's Mr. Basketball title twice in highschool while playing with a guy who would go on to be in the NBA. And they say that baseball was actually his best sport. I've seen video of him playing around with a soccer ball and scoring goals on people and he's good at that to. God only knows what other sports he would've been pro quality at. There are several guys with ridiculous amounts of athletic ability, but I can't think of many who could translate it so well to different sports.

Another guy who always comes to mind is Mike Tyson. We never saw what his prime would've been like. We never saw anything close to a prime with him. And yet what we did see was probably still unbeatable at it's best. Really sad to think about what was wasted there.

Randy moss is a fvcking FREAK

Guy runs half ass for like 8 straight plays, gets the cornerback into that same speed rythim, then all of a sudden he turns on his jets, and the cornerback is like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did he go?
