Rickson's son, Rockson, died a few years ago, but Rickson is still alive.
Oh shit, that f**kin' sucks man.....how?

I am going to be an underdog on this subject and say that gracie will win via submission.... I like Matt hughes and all, strong mofto he is, but just like what Gracie said " Thats his house "...

I will join the consensus on this one.
Gracie was the man when nobody knew what he was doing.
BJJ dominated early UFC events as nobody knew much about it.

Todays fighters are very much aware of, and train heavily in grappling along with wrestling, clinching, standup and GNP. Hughes is also exceptionally strong for his size and has a dense farmboy physique.

Matt should win pretty easily.

The Hughes vs GSP fight rematch is the one that I think will be more interesting. I actually think GSP will take the belt when they meet again although it promises to be a good fight either way.

I'd have to echo this to the tee. Royce is a legend, but after a loss to Hughes, he'll be looked at differently.

Word is, Royce will be fighting without a gi, since they will be fighting under UFC rules. That should be to Hughes advantage (getting stood back up at stalemates, time periods, time limit). I'm sure Royce has racked up countless hours practicing without a gi in his lifetime. But he's never fought a professional fight without one, but his first gi-less fight is going to be with Matt Hughes?
The Gracies don't care for the new UFC rules to begin with, now Royce is going in without a gi, to boot. Damn, that must've been one helluva big paycheck Dana White flashed in front of Royce's eyes.

After Frank Shamrock's 21 second KO of Cesar Gracie last weekend I think we will see another Gracie go down vs Matt Hughes.

If Royce has been training with Rickson then I think Royce will take it. Rickson is a mean mofo not just on the ground but in stand up also and if he's been able to work Royce over then Royce just may be able to take it.

I haven't picked a favorite yet.
No doubt, Matt's a monster, but Royce was, too.
Age isn't as much of a factor as it would have been back when UFC fights used to be ridiculously long. Besides, look at what Couture did at his age.
Gracie is also used to taking on guys who were bigger and stronger. Is Matt stronger than Kimo?

Gracie has only had 5 matches from 2000 on and has only won 2. He is 2-1-2 in those fights. A fighter that is similar to Hughes (weaker, but incredible at submissions) named Sakuraba pounded Gracie into a corner stoppage. I see something similar here.
