I don't see how Kimo's strength vs Matt's strength can be of any relevence. I believe that Matt today could beat Kimo on his best day, despite his bigger size and strength. As we've seen time and time again before weight classes were set up in the UFC, a person with top notch fighting skills and experience could tear up someone far stronger, yet with less fighting experience and skills.

Gracie has only had 5 matches from 2000 on and has only won 2. He is 2-1-2 in those fights. A fighter that is similar to Hughes (weaker, but incredible at submissions) named Sakuraba pounded Gracie into a corner stoppage. I see something similar here.
Yeah, 2-1-2, he's no longer undefeated. But like I said in an earlier post, I see it going the distance with Gracie losing on points. I'm sure there will be a time limit, maybe 5 rounds @ 5 mins each. That's only 25 minutes of fighting. When Gracie fought Sakuraba, they fought for 1 1/2 hours before Royce's corner threw in the towel (word is, Royce had something fractured).
I can't believe anyone actually thinks this is going to be a fight. Were this a couple of years ago I would say that it was going to go the distance. But this will be ref stoppage due to relentless elbows to royce's face. Royce's has lost the few fights he’s had in the past couple years to less than elite level competitors with the exception of Sakuraba (nickname "the gracie killer"). Look for a brutal beating here.
Rickson Gracie's son, Rockson died a few years ago in a motorcycle accident in New York, but Carlson Gracie Sr. died just a couple of months ago.
All the thanks and respect goes to the Gracies for making MMA what it is today. Without them, Matt Hughes would probably just be a college wrestling coach somewhere. Hughes is definitely a valiant warrior, but he has his opponent to thank for such a lucrative career.

what I never heard the full story on is....how did Carlson die? Wasn't it pretty sudden/unexpected?
Speaking of old school Gracie stuff, I watched UFC 2 last night, lol, (Fred Ettish rules!) My BJJ trainer was actually part of the old Gracie "train" so that was funny to see him looking all young too.
