I'd have to go with Phil Hartman as my favorite of all time.
In the era on SNL with Hartman, Chris Rock, Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Victoria Jackson, and the rest of the crew it is very hard to choose.
In my opinion that was some of the best shows SNL ever had.

You are so right, Crash3837. Phil Hartman was, by far, the greatest. His comedic timing, expressions, vocal inflections... He's the ONLY reason I watched "NewsRadio." My other favorite (and I miss her!): the underrated Cheri Oteri.
