Who had a worse night, the cop or this kid?

1) Sorry... 'Within the Law'
2) Same.
3)...
4) Look at the way you 'RAGE against the machine' even on EF. You're the bannderded king bro.
5) So what? Citizens aren't allowed to police the police? I disagree if that is what you are saying. The po-po has cameras in their cars and they are looking for situations involving criminal activity, they find it too - are they douches? That cop got owned by a citizen, plain and simple. Too bad so sad. If you're a cop - you had better goddamn fucking respect the citizens you are entrusted to protect - not abuse your authority.

He didn't have to explain shit. Compliance with that just leads to further abuse.

imagine that kid in detroit or east st louis getting pulled over.
the minute he started acting like a badass he'd been faced down with a knee in his back.
when a cop asks you a simple question it's best to answer it. you know this, that if you were waiting for a friend in a commuter lot and the same situation happened, that's what you would've done, cause it's the right thing to do.
take it up in court

Exactly.

Which is why the police should be policed more often in an organized fashion. Police have a job to do no doubt, but abuse need not be part of it.

Moltke............in this instance in the parking lot I agree with the cop asking the kid why he's there BECAUSE of past incidences in that particular lot. However, the incident with that same kid at the DUI roadblock was completely and utterly BULLSHIT!! A roadblock is there to catch people DRINKING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, ie DUI!! It's not a fishing net asking people their nigthly iteneraries. Next time you're at a roadblock are you going to tell a cop you're on your way to cheating on your wife with a stripper in some seedy local motel?? I mean seriously, take my breathalizer, see it say's 0.0.........than send me on my way. How dare those cops ask that kid out of his car because he wouldn't divulge his personal itenirary for the night. Those cops should be immediately banned from every working in law enforcement again. I have no problem talking with cops, because I by and large like them. I just came back from Toronto yesterday and got asked coming back in what I did in Canada........I had no problem telling the guy what I did........but I could have just stopped at saying "pleasure" or "business". I agree that caginess at the border should warrant a preliminary search...........but a DUI roadblock is a COMPLETELY different situation/dynamic. And I'm not even going to talk about the guys on tape saying "we'll make some stuff up if you don't stfu".......instant banning from the proffession.

i guess i didn't see the roadblock deal, only the parking lot thing
and the cop definetly acted like a douche, but so did the suspect.

I'll freely admit that the kid is baiting cops at this point........a year prior to the parking lot incident, he taped the DUI cops doing the same thing. BUT........he's not doing shit that is "completely" unreasonable. Yes he's doing it on purpose, but he's not breaking laws. He's not obligated to tell a DUI roadblock cop what he's doing for the whole night or where he's going............so they pull him out and say the same shit that they'll make some shit up and throw him in jail for the night. There's a serious problem with that department.

Banning = Cuffs ?

Cuffs don't scare me. What scares me is if I did something that is going to result in incarceration after the fact and a criminal record...

Being arrested.... is itimidating, but if I was that kid the only thing that would have scared me about being arrested that night is what they would have / could have done to the evidence in the the car - i.e. the video archives.

That cop deserves to be anally violated.

WERD

Imagine doing the whole, "Yes sir, no sir" and STILL getting cuffed and threatened with incarceration surrounded by 4 Sheriff's officers - having to argue your case THE ENTIRE PROCEEDING IN HANDCUFFS, the man that beat you to the ground not 10 feet from you and all you can do is sob, stutter and beg a judge to look at the evidence that would prove you innocent of *the latest round of charges*, get your children back and have the tables turned on your ex, the man that has used your children this way FOR YEARS.....

Methinks THAT would be enough to scare the living shit out of anyone.

The hell you say, it didn't happen JUST LIKE THAT?!?!

Thank God for transcripts.... a CD no less.... It's a thing of beauty. But go ahead and get someone to stand still long enough to listen and even when they do, "Sorry, but we can't help you. Go spend ANOTHER 400K and file an appeal."

It's all good though... eventually the truth ALWAYS has a way of rearing its ugly head regardless of how many people shout you down and call you dispicable names because *they think* they know *something*....

Thank God for my girls that I am one ornery motherFUCKER. :qt:

if the cause is worthy then cuffs are worth it
for something stupid like this video what's the point in trying to be a hero?
just be a bitch and bend over, it's quick and painless if you are nice about it.
