WHO do you think should be TIME'S MAN OF THE YEAR.

I also forgot to mention Bush's strength in standing up to the tobacco lobby, the gun lobby, big oil, pharmaceutical, and insurance industry.

Are there some brave Republicans? Yes. John Mccain has my utmost respect....He makes Bush look little in comparison to him.

Ryan--you really have to get over all of this. The country has come together and you want to pull it apart.

This country is behind one mission: curtailing terrorism. Half the country still believes Bush stole the election. After Bin Laden is captured and Americans are forced to turn back to domestic issues like healthcare, lack of employment, and a recession, Bush will be dust like his "daddy."

Well then his approval rate should be at 50% right?
Fact is a lot of people that did not vote for him are glad that he is the one in office and not gore. He has 3 years to get the economy back on its feet. With that much time in our world today--Mickey mouse could do it. insert joke here_______!

He will be a shoe in for re-election. But look on the bright side---you have about 7 more years for your put downs and mis-information for all to see.

Whoa...you want a republican politician to stand up to the gun and tobacco lobbies, oil, pharmaceutical and insurance industries??? Is your middle name "dreamer?"

I rather enjoy paying $1/gallon for gas instead of the $2/gallon we had last year with Clinton. I am part of the gun lobby as well. Insurance companies own America. Oil companies own the rest.

His Dad was unable to get the economy back on track after the Gulf War, and somehow, you expect his son, who also follows his Dad's same philosophy of trickle-down economics to get the economy back on track? LOL. Don't hold your breath.

The whole country would have rallied around Gore just as they have rallied around Bush. Our national security is at stake, what choice do we have but to support the President in matters of war? We must appear unified to the rest of the world.

Finally, Bush has still yet to win a national election. Remember, Gore received the most votes in the 2000 election. This war will be a distant memory by 2004. When 2004 rolls around, single mothers will still be working for minimum wage, the environment will be even more polluted, millions of Americans will still lack health care coverage, and social security will be in even more jeapordy. And who will we blame? Another Bush.

Thus, Bush should enjoy his brief popularity. It won't last unless he changes his policies to benefit hardworking lower and middle income Americans. And as long as he's in bed with the special intersts we know that won't happen.

Bush's prioritys are big oil and big insurance, always have been, and always will be. Problem with those two priorities is they aren't enough to hand him a majority of America's votes.

Bush is a realist. Who cares about the majority of votes? It is who wins the election. Arguing about vote majority is akin to saying that the team with the best statistics should get the 'W' instead of the team with the most points.-

Bullshit, rally around Gore my ass. If Gore was president, that goofy fucker would have been wearing a turban during his first news conference on Sept. 11 and praised Allah. Democrats are pussies as presidents and that will never change. Oh well, they tend to get laid more than republicans anyway.

Oh yeah, FDR was a real pussy. And Johnson was huge wimp.

I think pussy is a very poor choice of words for democrats.

They actually are better at communication. This is because fiction is more interesting than fact.:D
