Okay, read my Kennedy posts and my response to Ryan's. Ryan basically said I called for the nuking of Japan (not so much, no) and the only comment about my Kennedy posts was: "mmm, babysitter sex."

To digress from the topic.... Musclebrains, lots of really informed people like yourself defend FDR all the time. The man is practically canonized, added to the roster of Saints.

I seem to be the only person in America who has issues with him on account of waiting sooo long (about 2 years) from the time the Final Solution really got in gear to the time we intervened (which we only did after Pearl Harbor).

Inaction back then was in itself action. It was inhumane.

I am unaware of defending FDR. I said he wasn't a wimp. Like Johnson, he engaged in some serious transgressions. But I dont' think either man could be called a "pussy" in the present context.

And you're certainly not alone in citng FDR's delay. America's isolationism and long disregard of the death camps are almost ubiquitous criticisms.
