whats a heavy weight for leg extensions

is 305 for 4 reps heavy? it sounds heavy but when you consider that alot of people here can squat 450 (plus their bodyweight above the knee, which adds another 200 or so) it doesn't seem that much. Even though squats use alot more muscles than just the quads they are a big factor in squatting.

so is it or not? everyone else at the gym only does about 90 lbs on the machine but they are generally not building for mass.

I do 1450 for high reps, like 20x3.

But then I weigh like 650#.

im also pulling about 250 on leg curl. is that high? i have no comparison as i don't go to a 'hardcore' gym. mine is filled with old people.

theres just no retort to something like that.

Look at my avastair, I'm a fat ass.

At least call me that man. Come on, I'm spoon feeding you the chances to burn me. ;)

Thats not you in your avatar, your a pissy white guy who will end up alone after your daughter abandons you and women want nothing to do with you datewise. I dont see that in your avatar.

i did them for burnouts today after squats and lunges with 120x10x3. i don't even think our machines go up over 250lbs. i'd have to go sit on the hammer strength version and load up like 8 plates on it to get in the 300 range.

i sure wish hammer strength would come out with a good tricep kickback machine. that would be the best ever. i'd do nothing but that machine for tris supersetted with doing a skiing acceleration motion as fast as i could only i'm not really holding the poles. i could bring poles maybe on heavy day.

See there ya go.
Don't you feel better now that you finally have someone who you think is worse than you in life?

the thing is i can't squat because of really bad knees. i can leg extend with 305 but i can't squat more than 225 because of knee problems. So i don't really know how powerful my legs are. Leg presses are pretty much out too due to the knees and if i can do them i can only do about 1/2 as much as i probably should be able to do.

dude i lost my knees in the war and i still get up every monday morning and squat until i throw up on my stubs

whats that below me?

I refuse to do squats. my knees are bad enough. weighing 261 doesnt help either.

yeah i don't blame you if you have bad knees. my knees are fine and they still hurt and start creaking after hitting squats and then whatever else afterwards. maybe ask santa for a nice set of titanium knees for christmas?

i wanted an MP3 player but maybe i can get that added to my list. perhaps i can just perform my own surgery and put some brass doorknobs and superglue down there. If it weren't a good idea i wouldn't be considering it.

Heavy weight is subjective anyway man.

Just do what you can do, do it to failure (if thats how you train).

Why the hell am I not on your ignore list anyway man?
