So, here I am, laptop in lap, enjoying a tall sunny glass of 120 proof absinthe (www.drinklucid.com), waiting for MightMouse to send me cock shots in exchange for 5,000k (j/K), and then my iPhone randomly presents me with this song . . .



Suddenly, I'm 23 again, on the verge of a broken heart, and puffing away on Parliament Lights (in the box) as I watch my relationship with the love of my life evaporate before my eyes.

What song takes you back to a specific time/place and where is it?

Yeah that is what we used to do at the lake back then. It was all Bones,2 Pac, Too Short, and Wu Tang good music to listen to and chill.

Nice:) You know back in the day I had on a cd this bad ass house mix of "all about the benjamins" and I don't know what happened to it or who it was. Man I wish I had it back. :(

Correct! And I highly recommend Sarah Mclachlan's cover of the song available on Youtube. Even XTC said, "We should have sung it that way." You now have more k than you started with. :)

anything from the boston album "boston" and the meatloaf album "bat out of hell" and the ac/dc album "back in black" takes me back to high school. . .

this one :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: though, takes me back to a sticky-sweet romance with a little cheerleader during my sophomore year in college. . .it was playing on the radio at least three different times the day i was driving home for summer break. . .i still remember exactly how she smelled and what her lips felt like when i kissed her goodbye after i helped her pack her car and right before i got in mine to drive home. . .
