What lengths do you go to to save on gas? (if any?)

I use cruise control any time I'm in light enough traffic. I use the metro a lot now that I have a condo that's right above a blue line stop. I probably only spend about 100/month on gas, 200 on transportation total (but my metro pass is all reimbursed by work).

when i'm working in my regular office and i don't have any appointments, i frequently walk to work. . .only takes me 7 minutes door-to-door. . .

lol he'd do it even if he were single. he doesnt give a crap about how a car looks, rather how it performs. (these are his words really)

uhhhhh trade in value hello.

oh he's keeping these cars until they dont run. he has no intention of trading anything in at anytime. he will drive the car until it isnt driveable.

that is even worse for u as time goes on and it cosmetically looks worse and worse.

u have my sympathy :worried:

well

after a 45 minute drive to the nearest dealership, I discovered that i forgot that i live in the middle of fucking nothing and that normal businesses, like CAR DEALERSHIPS aren't open on sundays.

I had thought about taking that approach too, but i rely on my husband to tell me when to get my oil changed and to figure out what's wrong, etc., so i really should have a say in what I get. Luckily, we both agree on my next car choice. I just have to GET it.

i was just flabberghasted. when we got home i told him to immediately rip it off my bumper and now there's adhesive stuck to my front bumper from the duct tape and my car is black so its really kind of noticeable.

Goo Gone will remove the tape residue. That or any orange/citrus-based cleaner.
